Mirai didn't answer. He simply stood there in silence, analyzing the situation in his mind.
The Ōtsutsuki always moved in pairs. With twelve of them here, that likely meant six squads.
More importantly, from what he could sense, each one of these twelve had power on par with the Six Paths level.
Far stronger than the earlier intruders—Momoshiki, Kinshiki, and the others. These twelve were in an entirely different league.
It was clear now. The Ōtsutsuki had realized that something was off in the ninja world.
"Looks like... the final war with the Ōtsutsuki might be coming sooner than I thought," Mirai murmured.
He had no desire to attack first—his strength grew constantly, after all—but if they were going to keep chasing him down, then maybe it was time to start preparing for a full-scale assault on the Ōtsutsuki homeworld.
The twelve aliens grew visibly annoyed when they realized he was ignoring them.
How dare this native look down on them!
The leader raised his hand and said coldly, "Since you refuse to answer, I'll just dig the information out of your mind myself."
As soon as he spoke, a surge of power radiated from his body. A powerful suction force bore down on Mirai.
But to their shock—Mirai didn't budge an inch.
"What… what's going on?"
Panic crept into their expressions. They quickly summoned their treasured tools, ready to eliminate this defiant native.
But before they could even move, an overwhelming wave of pressure erupted from Mirai.

A series of dull impacts echoed through the air as all twelve Ōtsutsuki dropped to their knees, crushed under a suffocating force.
Their backs arched against the pressure, eyes wide in disbelief and horror.
"What… what is this?!"
"Why can't I move?! What are you?!"
"This power is insane! I can't even lift a finger—damn it...!"
Mirai's expression didn't change as he looked down on them, calm as ever.
"Next time you see me in the ninja world… bow your head."
He paused for a beat.
"Not that you'll get the chance."
The moment he finished speaking, a sickening crunch echoed in the air. One after another, eleven of the twelve Ōtsutsuki were crushed into dust by an invisible force.
Not just their bodies—even their souls were obliterated in an instant.
Only the leader remained, pale as a sheet as he stared up at Mirai in pure terror.
"W-who... what are you?!"
His arrogance was completely gone. All that remained was the raw, primal fear of death.
Eleven of his comrades—each of them at Six Paths level—had been wiped out in an instant, without even a chance to resist. No one, not even on the Ōtsutsuki homeworld, could have done something like that.
How could such an existence even exist in this universe?
Before he could think further, searing pain shot through his right arm.
It had already been pulverized into dust—he hadn't even realized when it happened.
"From now on, answer only what I ask. No unnecessary words," Mirai said flatly.
To the Ōtsutsuki, it was like the voice of a demon.
These were the exact methods he'd used to interrogate other "natives" in the past… but now, they were being used against him.
"What's your name?" Mirai asked.
"…Taro. Ōtsutsuki Taro," he replied, swallowing his pride.
Facing death, Taro gave in without a shred of resistance.
In truth, the more powerful and long-lived someone was, the deeper their fear of death often ran.
Mirai didn't need to push further. Taro quickly spilled everything he knew.

Thousands of years ago, when Isshiki first discovered the ninja world, he sent a message back to the Ōtsutsuki clan.
But after that, all contact from Isshiki ceased.
To investigate, and to explore this unexplored region of the cosmos, the clan sent Kinshiki, Momoshiki, Urashiki, and Shinjiki—Urashiki's guardian.
But after briefly reporting that they had located the same planet as Isshiki, those four vanished as well.
It wasn't the first time something like this had happened. Planets with powerful life energy often birthed one or two extremely formidable beings.
So the clan concluded: there had to be some unimaginable treasure of power hidden in this region.
This time, they had sent twelve Six Paths–level warriors—an overwhelming force capable of conquering anything in the universe.
They were confident they would return with something extraordinary.
But because of the distance, the journey had taken over ten years.

As Mirai listened to Taro's explanation, he rubbed his chin in thought.
Now that he'd killed Taro's entire squad, the Ōtsutsuki would definitely send more reinforcements.
The war was inevitable.
With that in mind, Mirai activated his psychic abilities and took control of Taro's mind.
Then he had Taro send a falsified report back to the Ōtsutsuki homeworld:
"We have located the planet Isshiki originally discovered. The God Tree has been successfully planted."
"Isshiki and the others have betrayed us and have already been eliminated."
"We will continue exploring this region for the next several years."
"Please wait patiently for further updates."
It was a stalling tactic—Mirai's way of buying time.
He wasn't planning to defend the ninja world forever.
He wanted to lead a full-scale assault on the Ōtsutsuki homeworld.
But the ninja world wasn't quite ready yet.
He needed time to prepare.
