Octavia, who was beside Primo, wanted to cry but she held back her tears to console Primo.
"Primo, stop crying. Mommy is gone now and Daddy can't remember Mommy. We can't depend on anyone now; we need to be independent. Hush! We must be strong!"
Still upset, Primo countered, "But Octavia, I really, really miss Mommy."
Octavia rubbed her teary eyes and cried, "I miss Mommy, too. Where did Mommy go?"
Then, Quinto came running, looking serious. "I overheard the conversation between Grandma and Grandma Cynthia. Mommy was kidnapped by God!"
Fuming, Primo clenched his tiny fist. "It's that evil man again!"
Quarto added, "Even if we know Mommy was captured by God, where can we find him? Luz has already been destroyed, so we basically have no idea where Mommy is."
