"So… does the High Priestess mean that we should follow Emperor's suggestion and prepare for an imminent battle with Thanos?"
The handmaiden suddenly grew worried. Thanos was no different from a demon in the universe.
"Exactly. Inform Warlock Adam immediately to assemble manpower, increase the number of unmanned combat drones, and upgrade all their functionalities!"
Ayesha trusted Emperor. He would never fabricate such a lie just to trick her into leaving Earth—there was no reason for him to do so.

On Earth, Alan finally welcomed a moment of peace. Gamora, Quill, and the others had already left Earth to continue safeguarding the security of the 26th Galactic Sector.
They had established a connection with Asgard to jointly protect the Nine Realms. By working together, they could effectively reduce the threat of the Chitauri army.
Once Alan finished settling matters on his end, he would get in touch with Quill and the others again.
"Master, you should check on Scott's training results today."
Hearing Red Queen's voice, Alan turned his head and took a closer look. "Red Queen, you seem… different from before."
If he remembered correctly, Red Queen appeared to have grown taller. Was it due to the Mind Stone?
"What's different?" Red Queen asked nervously. She hadn't detected any abnormalities within herself.
Could it be that her internal computations had malfunctioned, causing her to overlook certain changes in her body?
It seemed she needed to add more detection programs to prevent unnoticed transformations.
"Don't be nervous. I meant that you've grown taller." Alan noticed that Red Queen's height was now almost at his shoulders.
While surprised that Red Queen could grow, he immediately thought about the Infinity Stones and asked, "Red Queen, how far have you progressed in merging with the stone?"
"Master, integrating the stone takes time. I can't rush it." Red Queen lowered her head in shame, feeling guilty for being unable to provide Alan with an exact timeline.
The stone's power was simply too overwhelming, making it impossible to calculate an accurate timeframe.
For instance, the Aether Particle was still in the process of merging. Fortunately, since her body was made of vibranium, she didn't have to worry about being overwhelmed by the stone's power.
"I'm not rushing you. If you feel uncomfortable, don't force yourself." Alan thought that if the fusion truly proved impossible, he would just give up on the idea.
His initial thought was that merging the stones into one would concentrate all risks in a single point—allowing him to absorb them.
That way, even if they defeated Thanos, and another "Thanos" emerged in the future, the target would only be him.
"You stay here. I'm taking Wanda to find Scott."
Just as he finished speaking, Gwen suddenly jumped in through the window.
Alan was already used to Gwen rarely entering through the front door. Ever since she became Spider-Woman, she could come in from anywhere she wanted.
"Alan!" Seeing him was the happiest part of Gwen's day. "Where are you going?"
Ever since Sovereign's High Priestess, Ayesha, confessed to Alan, Gwen had been unable to let it go. She wished she could keep an eye on Alan 24/7.
Unfortunately, she couldn't do that, fearing it would make Alan dislike her.
"I'm taking Wanda to Dr. Hank's house."
Alan sat at the entrance, putting on his shoes, completely unaware of the fleeting loneliness in Gwen's eyes.
Her outstretched hand, which was about to touch his shoulder, slowly withdrew.
