After untying John Brown, Lucy Campbell covered him with a blanket and then shooed the three girls out.
Lily and the others didn't stay around this time, feeling quite embarrassed, so they took the opportunity to slip away.
John Brown didn't see the three girls for the rest of the afternoon. It wasn't until dinner that he ran into them again.
By now, they had returned to normal, laughing and joking, still teasing John but without going overboard.
No one drank that evening. After dinner, they chatted in the living room for a while before heading off to rest.
Lucy and John returned to their room. Lucy shook her head and said, "If these three girls could be this well-behaved every day, that would be great."
John laughed and said, "Live a lifetime, happiness is what matters."
Lucy nodded and said, "That's why I envy them. By the way, you can't take a shower. Let me wipe you down."
John quickly said, "There's no need for that, right?"
