When John Brown woke up, there were quite a few people in the hospital room. Gina was holding Little Violet, who had already fallen asleep in Gina's arms. Sandra, Sunny, and Melody were sitting by the bedside, while Lucy was sitting in the chair next to them.
"Brother-in-law, you're awake!" Sandra exclaimed joyfully, tightly grabbing John Brown's hand.
John Brown grasped Sandra's hand in return and said, "Did I scare you?"
Sandra's and John Brown's hands were tightly clasped together as she said, "You really scared me to death."
