"This thing's pretty damn nice." Ethan turned the weapon over in his hands, genuinely impressed. "Atlas City, huh… no wonder. They actually built something like this."
Mia walked up, also eyeing it with curiosity. "The Atlas Federation's research division is insanely strong. And Atlas City's the capital—its R&D isn't something you can underestimate."
"The firepower's no joke," Chris said, rubbing the spot on his palm where the shot had hit. "I'm guessing it could seriously hurt a Tier 9."
He'd taken a round head-on. If it could make him feel pain, it was already way beyond any pre-apocalypse gun.
"Guess Atlas City didn't reclaim a megacity with twenty-something million people for nothing," Sean muttered.
"Yeah." Ethan nodded. "We'll bring it back and let Miles take it apart. See if we can make something similar. Though it burns crystal cores… I doubt a single core can fire many shots. Kinda wasteful. For us, it's more efficient to just raise our Tier."
