I floated down from the balcony and landed right in front of Mary and Charlotte. They jumped a little in surprise. I didn't want to wait for them to climb the ladder just to make them climb back down so I can teach them magic out here.
"My darling!" Charlotte exclaimed, immediately moving in to hug me. "We came to ask you if you would teach us to do magic."
"I see." I said, patting her back in the hug.
"Will you teach us, darling?" Charlotte asked, leaning back to look me in the eye.
"Uh, yeah, I don't mind." I said, awkwardly.
Why did I hesitate? I already made up my mind about teaching them magic when I heard them talking about it as they approached.
"Oh, how wonderful! Thank you so much, darling." Charlotte said, and kissed me on the cheek.
