The meteor crashed into the bear's head.

John and Mustard had already gotten clear of the battlefield.

The two watched from high above.

The red meteor and the giant bear head smashed together. Crazy energy crashed and exploded over and over, the blast sounds never stopping. The shock waves spread out everywhere, and the sky fell into darkness for a moment.

At some point, the bright sky had filled with dark clouds, lightning, and thunder.

The clash of both Pokemon's strongest moves had messed with the weather, even space itself.

Neither Pokemon was born with weather control powers. This weather change was just a chain reaction from pure power going wild.

As someone who'd fused with three orbs and had the physical strength to take on legendary Pokemon, John could see some weird things through his enhanced vision.

At the center of the battle between Blaziken and Urshifu, space had become twisted.

There were even some tiny cracks.

"The kind of power that breaks space," John thought, then remembered Palkia, the god of space.

If it had enough power to break space, it meant it could hurt Palkia.

On the battlefield, the standoff between Mega Blaziken and Urshifu didn't last long.

In just one breath, John and Mustard heard a loud BANG.

The fiery red meteor had broken through the dark giant bear!

BOOM!

The huge bear head exploded instantly and burned to nothing in the flames.

The next moment, Mega Blaziken's kick hit Urshifu right in the chest!

CRASH!

The ground on Challenge Beach shook like crazy, as if a level 9 earthquake was hitting.

Not only did people on the Isle of Armor run out of buildings in panic, but people in the Galar Region near the isle were also shaken by the scary vibrations. Huge waves dozens of feet high rolled up on the cliffs by the sea.

Thick black smoke poured up and floated straight to the sky, like it wanted to join with the dark clouds above.

The battle seemed decided.

But neither John nor Mustard rushed, waiting quietly for the smoke to clear.

When the shaking stopped, a gust of wind swept away the rolling black smoke.

A huge hole about half a mile across was revealed, hundreds of feet deep. After the flames went out, white ash curled up.

Mega Blaziken had released its evolution and was standing on the edge of the hole, staring hard at the center.

In the center of the big crater, Urshifu lay on the ground. Seawater surged behind it, lifting its body from the ground.

The battle result was clear.

Urshifu lost the ability to fight, Blaziken won!

But the referee had already run away, so no one announced the result.

Didn't need to announce it anyway.

Mustard took out his Pokeball and recalled his Urshifu.

"Your strength has gotten better again!" Mustard said with respect.

"Not enough," John replied, but he reached out and took out his Pokeball to recall Blaziken.

Blaziken vs. Urshifu, Blaziken won, but just barely. It had no chance to keep fighting in the next match.

In close combat, Urshifu had taken Mega Blaziken's "Crimson Knight Kick," which meant Mega Blaziken also had to take "Wicked Blow."

Mega Blaziken might have beaten Urshifu in attack power, but its stamina and defense weren't enough to handle Wicked Blow.

This was probably the normal result of a one-hit style battle.

Both Urshifu and Mega Blaziken only needed one move to beat their opponent.

Mustard took out another Pokeball and released it.

The Pokemon that appeared was very familiar, still an Urshifu, but with some small differences.

The Single Strike Urshifu's hair was all spiked upward, like a sharp sword being drawn, which shocked people. But this Urshifu in front of him had naturally drooping hair, its presence wasn't obvious, and it looked like it couldn't hurt a fly.

But John knew better.

This Urshifu was Mustard's strongest Pokemon.

[Urshifu (Rapid Strike Style) LV98]

The Rapid Strike Urshifu was completely different from the Single Strike style that went for one-hit wins. It went for endless attacks, mixing offense and defense perfectly.

One was using power to beat skill, and the other was perfect technique!

Single Strike Urshifu might lose strength due to age, and its fighting power was way less than before. But Rapid Strike Urshifu was completely the opposite. The older it got, the more combat experience it had, and the better its fighting skills became!

"If I'm going to fight a Rapid Strike Urshifu..." John thought for a moment and took out a Luxury Ball.

"Let me see the results of your recent training too."

The Pokeball opened in mid-air, and the big white-furred cat landed.

"Ora!" Zeraora raised its hands high with fighting spirit. It floated in mid-air, looking at the Rapid Strike Urshifu with electric eyes.

It remembered that it seemed to have fought an Urshifu before.

That's right, when John first faced Mustard and wanted to join his dojo, he'd used Zeraora.

"Urshifu, Aqua Jet!" Mustard gave the attack command, his eyes super focused. Right now, he seemed to have gone back to the arena where he first stood in the Pokemon League finals, with endless dreams and hopes as he challenged for the strongest champion's seat.

Urshifu stepped forward and lightly tapped the ground. Blue light floated around it, like afternoon sun falling on a lake, shimmering through tree leaves.

In a flash, Urshifu had already appeared in front of Zeraora. There was no need for Mustard to give follow-up orders, the old master's attack had already started as he planned.

"Bullet Punch!"

Urshifu reached forward and its arms turned into shadows in the blink of an eye.

Right away, within a hundred-meter radius, silver light flashed, as if there were thousands of machine guns pointed at Zeraora and firing non-stop.

Thud thud thud

The vibrations in space were so thick they seemed to form one solid thing.

Facing such a crazy attack, at most five of John's Pokemon could block it, and if they wanted to dodge without getting hurt, only two could avoid it completely.

The first was Gardevoir carrying the Lustrous Orb, using Future Sight and Teleport together to avoid Bullet Punch.

The other Pokemon was right here.

Its pupils got slightly bigger, and the white fur surface crackled with electricity.

Heart network, activate!

The invisible Thunder Wave spread outward, covering a hundred-meter radius, forming its own world.

In an instant, Zeraora turned into a phantom, flashing through countless silver bullets!
