With his fingers on Michelle's neck, Alexander finally decided to fulfill his earlier promise.
To do that, he sent a pulse of shadow essence into his index finger, letting it solidify right under his skin.
That formed a sharp, claw‑like form on the end of his finger, letting him draw blood.
Like that, Alexander dragged his finger across the side of Michelle's neck, leaving behind a thin line.
At first, because the claw was extremely sharp, the line didn't even seem to bleed and Michelle barely felt it.
But slowly, blood gathered in the wound and after that, started smoothly flowing out.
The wound was actually quite shallow, but after it started bleeding, it wasn't a little.
So though Michelle had yet to feel the sting of the cut, because it was very thin, she could feel the blood spilling over her skin.
And naturally, she could also smell her blood since it had that intense sweet scent.
