On the battlefield, a few moments after the effect of the explosion subsided;
The creaking sound of some loosely held trees could be heard as they fell to the ground while the others returned to their upright positions. The effects of the Shockwave were the strongest here, right under the explosion.
Naruto blinked while looking around him, feeling disoriented. His hair and clothes look a bit disheveled, his body littered with superficial wounds from the flying debris carried by the shockwave, with the Chakra Chains still coming from his back. The difference was that the two extra chains that anchored him to the ground before the shockwave arrived.
From the inside, he felt fine except for the loud ringing that plagued his ears, mixed with the sound of the falling trees.
Naruto used his left hand to close his mouth and nose before breathing out heavily. The increased pressure in his airways caused a pop in his ear as he tried to return the pressure in his ear canals to normal. That seemed to work as the ringing in his ear was reduced greatly, with his hearing almost returned back to normal.
"That was too close for comfort," Naruto muttered as he cracked his stiff body and neck. The superficial wounds had already disappeared without a trace. The only indication that they were there is the slightly torn clothes and flak jacket.
'You think,' Kurumi said a bit heatedly before letting out a sigh of relief.
'You think I can perform that attack?' Naruto asked
'Yes, you can, but while you are in the second form of jinchuuriki transformation or in full bijuu mode. You will have to train in it if you want to perform it outside those transformations.' Kurumi replied
Their conversation was interrupted when Naruto felt a slight tug on his chains, making him look towards Matatabi, who was trying, and failing, to move.
'What is this? What are these chains? Why can't I move or use Chakra?' Yugito said with panic seeping into her voice.
'I don't know, kitten,' Matatabi said, trying to make sense of what was happening. She felt this situation was similar to something she experienced before, but also quite different. Unlike last time, where her Chakra was forcefully absorbed and she was put to sleep, this time she felt her chakra being forcefully given back to her.
'Am I…. being forced out of my transformation?' Yugito asked as she felt that Matatabi's chakra was being forced back into her seal. She was now in full panic mode as she tried to thrash around to get away from the chains, but to no avail.
Naruto watched as Matatabi gradually shrank in size. Normally, the chakra chains would seal up a person's or a bijuu's chakra while restricting their movement. But in the case of a fully transformed Jinchuuriki, the chains restrict their movement while sealing back their chakra to their most stable state before sealing it completely. That state being the vessel bare of their bijuu's chakra, which is forced back to the bijuu inside the seal.
Yugito's transformation shrank more and more until she became visible with a red coat of chakra around her. Seeing this, Naruto started to retrack his chains, with them still binding Yugito, dragging her towards him.
This scene was witnessed by the still disoriented Kumo shinobi, making panic spread across their ranks
"Stop him."
"Why did it stop moving?"
"Stop it from getting captured."
Multiple Kumo Shinobi rushed towards Yugito, trying to stop her from being captured, only to stop in their track when a large fireball rushed towards them, forcing them to step back.
As the fireball passed, a brown hair Konoha Kunoichi, Reiko, appeared blocking their way. She was joined by other Konoha shinobi who engaged the Kumo Shinobi.
"Don't let them pass to him," Reiko ordered the Konoha Shinbo as she engaged with a Kumo jonin.
"Yes"
"Push them back."
"Victory is imminent. We got their Jinchuuriki."
The increased morale of the Konoha Shinobi was contagious among them, making them fight tooth and nail to secure their victory.
This display demoralized the Kumo shinobi, who tried everything to get to Yugito, but their dwindling numbers affected them greatly as they were being pushed back, away from Yugito and toward the land of frost.
"Yugito," Mabui called with desperation mirrored by Samui as they watched Yugito reach Naruto, her Chakra coat now absent as the chakra was forcefully sealed.
Naruto looked up at Yugito's eyes. While he is taller than her, He had her suspended in the air with his chains; she is still wrapped tightly in them, her feet dangling about half a meter above the ground.
"W..what are these chains?" Yugito said with difficulty.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" Naruto replied coldly as he made his chains move away from Yugito's abdominal area.
Naruto stretched his left arm, grasping the end of Yugito's slightly torn shirt before pulling it up, fully exposing her abdomen and reaching with his right hand onto the bare skin of her stomach and pushing his chakra into it. The injected chakra made Yugito's seal appear.
The situation would have made Yugito go completely red in embarrassment and anger if not for the situation and her predicament.
"A two-point seal, huh?" Naruto said as he looked at the seal that held Matatabi. It is considered a simple seal compared to what Naruto knows, but at the same time, it is more than enough to hold the Nibi without problems.
"W…what are you doing?" Yugito asked with panic, fear, and embarrassment. Her seal is exposed, and she doesn't have the faintest idea of what Naruto is going to do.
Naruto didn't reply; instead, he pulled back his right hand before stretching it open. One by one, the tips of his fingers lit up with purple chakra. Each one carries a different Kanji. Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth.
With the Kanji fully formed, Naruto slammed his fingers right on top of Yugito's exposed seal.
Gogyō Fūin (Five Elements Seal)
As soon as Naruto's hand fell on Yugito's seal, her eyes went wide in pain, and her mouth opened in a silent scream.
The next moment, her eyes rolled to the back of her head as she fell limp in the chains that held her fully unconscious form.
The five-element seal, being an odd-numbered seal, disturbs Yugito's two-point seal and makes her lose access to Matatabi's Chakra, along with disturbing her own chakra flow.
That was witnessed by the Kumo Shinobi, who were trying to reach her, making their feelings of dread, defeat, helplessness, and fear increase.
Those emotions increased dramatically when they spotted many new Konoha Shinobi, appearing on the battlefield led by Hyuga Hiashi, their eyes zeroed in on the Kumo Shinobi.
"Retreat," A Kumo Jonin shouted bitterly, seeing the situation sour greatly with the arrival of Konoha reinforcements.
"But…." Mabui, who was near him, said as she looked frantically at the captured and unresponsive Yugito.
"There is nothing we can do; we will be massacred if we stay." The Jonin said as he started to retreat with the Kumo Shinobi hurrying after him.
"After them," Hiashi ordered as he and the Konoha Shinobi rushed after them.
Naruto watched as the two forces got further and further away from him, before he looked to the side and saw Tsume approaching him and along with her canine companion.
"Naruto is that….?" Tsume asked with amazement in her voice. She couldn't believe that He had captured the Nibi's Jinchuuriki
"Yes, she is," Naruto replied as he put another seal on Yugito's forehead, sealing her chakra and movement.
"Kumo is going to lose their minds," Tsume said with a savage smile appearing on her face
"Tsume-san, can you rush after Hiashi-san and the rest of the Shinobi and tell them not to pursue the Kumo Shinobi past the border. The Hachibi jinchuuriki is still out there, and I still need to secure her." Naruto said, pointing at Yugito, who now lay on the ground free from the Chakra chains as they retreated into his body.
"You got it," Tsume said before disappearing in a burst of speed along with her dog.
