"Apologies, ladies and gentlemen. We will postpone the next match for a couple of minutes for the arena's ground maintenance." Isamu announced as Naruto left through the exit, and a couple of Shinobi entered to remove the discarded weapons and the blood from the grounds.
In the Kage booth;
"Go see if Naruto needs assistance, Tsunade." Hiruzen said
"Yes, Sensei" Tsunade replied before leaving the booth.
A gave them a side glance before returning his sight towards the middle of the arena.
'That damn Uzumaki brat.' A thought furiously to himself. Even though he knew Konoha's medical practices were better than Kuno's by several levels. What Naruto did made Kumo's Medical Corps look like a joke in front of the local and foreign audience.
A's eyes narrowed slightly. He had something to do after the end of the tournament.
A minute later, in the Arena's infirmary;
Tsunade entered the infirmary to see Naruto and his two clones working on and around the still-unconscious Anko. A clone is preparing a dose of antidote in a syringe, the other administering an IV drip on Anko's left side while Naruto himself is still working on Anko.
The antiseptic smell filled Tsunade's nose as she looked around the room, spotting its equipment and its staff that stood to the side watching Naruto.
Tsunade now fully entered the room and went towards Naruto while thinking to herself, 'This place can't really be called an infirmary.'
The place has some beds, cabinets, IV stands, and that's it. Aside from basic medical equipment, there isn't anything else. No monitors, no ventilators, or anything else. It is a good thing that Anko is breathing on her own, or Naruto would have to do that manually.
She soon stood behind Naruto to see what he was doing, but far enough to not be in his way. Naruto and his clones took a second to look at her and greet her with a nod before returning to their work.
"Is this really the Tsunade Senju, the best medic on the Elemental Nations?" a nurse whispered to her colleague.
"I don't believe it myself. What is she doing here?" the other nurse whispered back.
"What do you think, genius? The one on the bed is a Konoha genin and our guys were about to screw up so it is obvious she is here to make sure everything is fine" the first nurse replied back.
"Prime, the antidotes are ready." The first clone said as he placed a tray with a syringe and a bowl of clear liquid on the cabinet beside Naruto.
"Good. So here is the plan: after I administer the antidote, I will use the solution to clean and extract the poison from her wounds. After I finish each wound, I want you (looking at one of the clones) to immediately use a pair of clean forceps to remove the cotton or anything foreign in the wound, then you (looking at the second clone) close the wound right after. Remove the tourniquets after the wounds are closed. Understood?" Naruto said, to which his clones nodded
Naruto then picked up the syringe and took off its protective cap before inserting it into Anko's right arm, beneath her shoulder, and pushed the contents into Anko slowly.
"Antidote is onboard." Naruto said as he pulled out the now-empty syringe before putting the cap back on and throwing the whole thing away in the bin next to the bed.
Naruto then formed some hand seals before his hands glowed a comforting shade of green. He then put his hands on the solution in the bowl, which stuck to his hands and gained a green hue.
'Delicate Illness Extraction jutsu.'
Under the astonishment of the others around, excluding Tsunade, the solution clung to Naruto's hands without falling as he raised his hands, leaving the bowl with the solution in his hands, making a liquid sphere that held itself.
Naruto, with the solution sphere in his hands, put it on the first wound for a couple of moments, making a dark liquid seep out of the wound into the solution, leaving behind a clean wound free from poison.
As he finished with the first wound and went to the other, his first clone removed anything foreign from the wound, followed by the second clone closing the wound with the help of the mythical palm jutsu.
For about an hour, the three continued to work in silence, which was broken a couple of times by the distant cheers of the crowd in the arena.
With a small splash, Naruto returned the now dark and murky solution to the bowl before going to the sink and cleaning and disinfecting his hands thoroughly. His clones were finishing with Anko's wounds and were starting to wrap her now-healed body in clean bandages.
The kumo medical in the room looked at Naruto with wonder, amazement, and envy. Most of what Naruto did was unknown to them, but the results spoke for themselves. They wouldn't have done the job as clean or as fast as Naurto did.
After Naruto finished, he walked towards his mother while wiping his hands.
"Anko is now safe with no worry about complications. I have administered the antidote into her bloodstream to take care of any remaining poison I couldn't take care of. She should wake up soon, but it would take a couple of days to a week for her to return to her usual 100 percent." Naruto reported to Tsunade.
"Good job, Naruto. I.." Tsunade was interrupted when a Kumo shinobi entered the room.
"You are being called to the Arena, Naruto of Konoha. Your match is up." The ninja said before leaving.
"Go, Naruto. I will examine Anko to see if everything is fine." Tsunade said before walking towards the peacefully sleeping Anko.
"You two stay with them. Make sure nothing wrong happens." Naruto said to his clones before exiting the infirmary.
As Naruto walked towards the entrance of the battle grounds. His face turned cold knowing that his opponent was the same one who put Anko in that condition.
