"I don't know much, but there are gamma rays stored in his body. Could it be that the gamma rays have mutated? However, where does the extra mass come from? But where does the additional mass come from? Could it be stored in a pocket space, or is he linked to an unknown dimension" Mr. Fantastic said while thinking.
"His power seems to fluctuate with his emotions. It's because his attributes match the power of an unknown dimension, so... cough cough, sorry, occupational habit is acting up."
After a moment, Mr. Fantastic came back to his senses and remembered that this was still a battlefield.
"Forget it, I don't want to know so much. I just want to know, Reed, do you have any way to deal with this green big guy?" The Thing said.
"Uh... if you can give me a few days, I can develop a device that specifically eliminates gamma rays to deal with this big guy," Reed said awkwardly.
"The thing is... we don't have a few days." The Thing looked at Hulk and said unhappily.
"I'm afraid so," Reed muttered, noticing the massive shadow looming overhead. Looking up at the panting Hulk, he gave a bitter smile.
With a loud rumble, Hulk swayed slightly. Looking back, they saw the Invisible Woman had launched a telekinetic energy shield and struck him.
However, it didn't even have the effect of a massage on Hulk. On the contrary, after using the shield with all her strength, she could no longer maintain her invisibility, and her figure flickered into view.
The Invisible Woman was far from her strongest form, which would one day allow her full command over energy release, energy shields, group invisibility, and flight. She had only possessed superpowers for about a month, and the fact she could develop the offensive form of her energy shield was already an extraordinary feat for her current level.
'Looks like if I don't step in, the Fantastic Four are done for,' Shin curled his lips. This was something General Ross should be blamed for... he had ordered the helicopter away before jumping out himself. If Betty had been present, she could have calmed the Hulk and might have already pacified him.
Just as the Fantastic Four and the others were on the brink of despair, a loud bang rang out. The Hulk, who had just been towering in front of them, suddenly flew backward like a ball.
"What's going on?" Mr. Fantastic exclaimed, turning to look at the figure who had kicked Hulk away. The newcomer was shrouded in darkness, a faint black mist swirling around him.
"He looks familiar..." Mr. Fantastic muttered, frowning slightly. Before he could finish the thought, the dark figure spoke to the Fantastic Four.
"Move aside. Don't get in the way."
"Hey, man, the Fantastic Four never gets in the way," said the Human Torch defiantly, having recovered slightly. Then he saw the black figure pointing at the Hulk, who had grown even larger and more furious.
"Okay, then help me stall him for a bit."
"Uh... let us get out of your way," the Human Torch muttered, stepping back and swallowing nervously.
Shin ignored the frightened Human Torch and appeared in front of Hulk in a flash of motion. He punched Hulk, suspending him in mid-air, then delivered a swift kick that sent him flying upward.
Although Hulk was incredibly tough and powerful, hailed as one of the strongest among all Marvel superheroes, he had two glaring weaknesses, he couldn't fly, and he lacked ranged attacks.
If suspended in the air, he had no footing to generate force, which significantly reduced the effectiveness of his brute strength.
Moreover, compared to the monstrous strength and speed of heroes from the DC world, Hulk, while powerful, had only average reaction speed and flexibility.
Shin kicked Hulk higher and higher like a ball, giving him no opportunity to react or adjust. After launching him thousands of meters into the air, he instantly appeared behind Hulk.
Reaching out, he grabbed Hulk by the back. Black mist billowed around them, and the endless gamma-ray energy inside Hulk was forcibly extracted as if being pulled into a black hole.
Hulk's roaring gradually weakened. His massive body began to shrink, revealing Bruce Banner's form beneath.
After a quick inspection, Shin was surprised to discover that the gamma energy he had just drained was slowly regenerating within Bruce's body.
'Is it because his physiology has completely changed? Or is there another reason? It's actually generating gamma radiation automatically.'
'In other words, Bruce Banner probably won't be able to separate from the Hulk for the rest of his life.'
If Shin had paid closer attention to Mr. Fantastic's earlier analysis, he might have deduced that Hulk was essentially a manifestation of Bruce Banner being connected to a specific energy dimension.
The gamma rays within Hulk were terrifyingly volatile. Even Shin dared not absorb them directly. Instead, he expelled the energy in a controlled burst, releasing it as a dazzling flash of white light.
From the ground, the Fantastic Four, soldiers, and the citizens of Manhattan watched the silhouettes of Hulk and Shin rising in the sky. The intense flash of light that followed nearly blinded the spectators below.
When their vision cleared, the sky was empty—no figures remained.
"Where's that big guy?" General Ross asked with a puzzled look. "Did they get blown apart by that white light?"
"No, that's impossible," Mr. Fantastic replied confidently. "Given Hulk's physical strength, the energy required to blow him apart would be enough to flatten all of New York, maybe even the entire East Coast."
"I suspect it was some kind of misdirection. That person might have teleportation powers and took the Hulk with him."
"Alright, Reed, that's not something we need to worry about," the Invisible Woman Sue interrupted firmly. "What you men need to do now is get checked out at the hospital!"
The Human Torch had been stunned by the Hulk's earlier roar. Though rescued by his sister, he had suffered serious injuries.
Mr. Fantastic had been hurled into a building by Hulk, and glass fragments still pierced parts of his body.
The Thing, Ben, had the strongest defense but had taken the brunt of the fight. The stones on his body were cracked, and blood was still oozing from the damage.
"There's no need to go to the hospital. Our bodies are different from regular people's, and it's difficult for doctors to treat us—especially Ben. I've invented a treatment device. We just need to head back and lie down for an hour or two, and we'll be good as new," Mr. Fantastic said confidently.
