Zuo Feng looked at the stout rider with a puzzled expression, certain that he had never been to East County, nor did he know anyone in East County, let alone someone with such apparent status there.
Yet the soldier belonging to East County seemed extremely familiar to him. But before he could carefully recognize him, the cavalry had already swiftly galloped past Zuo Feng like a gust of wind. Even in the crowded area at the city gate, they didn't slow down a bit.
Soon, this little episode at the city gate was over, and Zuo Feng, filled with doubt, joined the flow of people once again. It wasn't long before he reached the table at the city gate, and upon reporting his name, the soldier recording the names looked Zuo Feng up and down with some confusion and asked.
"Zuo Feng, are you the Zuo Feng from Zuo Village?"
Zuo Feng was bemused, so he quickly responded, "I'm Zuo Feng, and indeed I'm from Zuo Village."
