Shadow never expected to be so lucky today. Previously, it would take hours to find an opportunity, sometimes even lying in wait for a whole day without one. But now, within just ten minutes, the chance arrived.
Once one is gone, the other can be easily handled.
Seeing the remaining man eagerly looking towards the outbuilding, Shadow leaped up. Covering his mouth from behind, a flash of cold light passed across his neck, and the man stopped struggling.
Shadow dragged the man into a small garden beside the courtyard, laying him behind a few pots of yellow chrysanthemums. Then went back to his original position. Soon, the man who went to fetch the wine returned, glanced around, but didn't see his third brother's shadow.
