The last time Chez was awake, he was being tortured by a group of large golden lions, forcing him to spill secrets he had once sworn to never tell anyone.
Now, he was waking up again, blinking his eyes and hoping that the last memory he had of when he was awake was nothing but a bad dream.
But the sensation of his broken bones and the absence of his tail was like a cold bucket of water splashed on his face.
Some of his bones had been broken, especially his ribs. And the cause of all this had intentionally left foreign energy within him, preventing him from healing naturally.
Chez wasn't an immortal, that had to be noted.
Kael could play with him however he liked.
Chez pushed his paws against the foreign ground, raising his head and opening his eyes to a scene that filled him with crushing despair.
He found himself, standing in his true cat form behind a chair. He couldn't see the person sitting on this chair and that wasn't his concern at the moment.
