The next day.
Kael was crouched on the ground, his hands on his knees and his head buried between his knees.
His eyes were closed but his vision was filled with the flashing screens of the lion system as well as the many other systems he had created.
This was a funny position for him to be in, given how large and muscular his body was. But it didn't matter, too many things were stressing him out for him to care that much about how he looked at the moment.
He had walked to and fro, he had jumped, jogged, sat still, crossed his legs, and all sorts of stances so that he could think straight.
Now, he was crouched and had his head lowered with his eyes closed.
What was bothering him?
A lot.
Although Kael liked to pride himself on being unaffected by most things that didn't have to do with his goals, he had to admit that these last few events actually affected him.
He would be lying if he said that worry hadn't crept up in his heart.
