"Please, stop that?" Kael's irritated voice came from the corner of the room.
Memphis paused her sniffing, her green eyes gleaming with curiosity. She turned her head to see Kael quietly sitting on one of the pillow sofas in a slightly relaxed manner.
He wasn't looking at Memphis or Exalon, instead, his eyes were focused on the golden screen before him.
Memphis could not see the golden screen so she thought at first that Kael was just ignoring her presence.
But she noticed that his eyes moved from left to right and up to down, and his fingers twitched occasionally.
He was clearly doing something but she could not see it.
"He's working," Exalon said, filling her in vaguely.
Memphis tilted her head, "Working? On what?"
"The system," Exalon answered.
"Is that what links you all together?" Memphis asked.
"Yes," Exalon nodded.
"Oh," Memphis then walked over to Kael, completely ignoring Exalon's subtle warning.
Perhaps her time in solitude had made her forget basic etiquette.
