The zebra herd had once again created some distance between them and the beast horde. They walked over the wild plains under the cover of the night and were guided by the silver moonlight from above.
The land on the other side of the river was more grassy and the grass here was taller and greener. The breeze blew the tall grasses effortlessly, causing swishing sounds to be heard.
The zebra herd's members were mostly tired right now. They had been moving for the whole day and desired to rest. If only they could stop.
But the leaders had told them that the super mega herd was just up ahead and they had to keep on going. Only when they joined the Super Mega Herd would they be safe and be able to rest to their heart's content.
Many pregnant females wished to join this Super Mega Herd so that they could give birth to their young safely. Some young and able-bodied males saw this as an opportunity to meet new females and start their own harem family units.
