"Just up ahead, the river!" Sherone shouted to the red-striped male beside him.
The red-striped male zebra nodded his head, understanding Sherone's plan. The other male leaders knew what was to happen.
This wasn't the brightest of ideas at all and came with a lot of risks, but if it meant a stronger chance of survival for the majority of them, then they would not mind taking it.
In front of the moving zebra herd, a body of water could be seen in the distance, sitting there and reflecting the setting sun.
"Faster!" Sherone shouted and charged forward with superior speed, it looked like he would be the one to cross the river first once they arrived.
Behind the zebra herd, more weak zebras who could not keep up with their running herd were slowly being left behind. Their bits of stamina could not take them far so they began to run slower and slower than they initially started.
