"Sherone! They are getting closer!" One of the male leaders hollered.
The dazzle of zebras reacted to the looming horde of creatures that had already crossed the horizon and were getting closer.
"Everyone, pick up pace," Sherone commanded as he picked up his pace.
He was an experienced Zebra and had led these herd migrations in the past, he knew where to go and he even already had a pace in mind.
A plan was forming in his head, a really dangerous plan, one that would shock Kael if he found out. This Sherone was very bold, as expected of someone with so many scars.
The two thousand-plus zebras began to move slightly faster. As Sherone changed direction slightly, they all did so at the same time, heading toward a distant destination.
The cry of an eagle resounded, causing the ears of the zebras to perk up. They were very wary of these winged beings that could fly down to fight them at any moment.
