Chen Ke and Ms. Harlowin decided to leave Warehouse 6 for last, as it was some distance from them, and right in front of them was Warehouse 8, where they planned to start.
These warehouses resembled the large dock buildings typical of wharves or the big storage spaces found in factories. Standing in front of the iron door, Chen Ke felt his own insignificance.
The structure of the warehouses was not complex; the big iron doors slid open and were controlled electronically. Ninety percent of the inside was open space, with stairs on the side leading up to the warehouse office.
Ms. Harlowin, having died hundreds of times, was already thoroughly familiar with the layout of these warehouses. The only thing hindering her was the overwhelming firepower inside.
"What's their equipment like? How many people?"
Chen Ke and Ms. Harlowin stood in front of the large iron door of Warehouse 8. Before they entered, Chen Ke wanted to know what kind of resistance they would encounter.
