If you were to put saiyan children in absolute isolation for the majority of their lives, in darkness surrounded by things that would only want to kill them, what would happen? The answer is simply that they would evolve into killing machines without emotion.
Three Years Later:
Bang
Bang
Bang
The sound of ki blasts rang through an empty room, clashing into a brown stone wall, filling the room with dust. The dust flowed until it abruptly enveloped a lanky figure with spiky hair, which hung down his shoulders.
The saiyan was Sado. Even though of his young age, the saiyan was a few inches taller than the average saiyan male, however, the major difference was that Sado wasn't bulky like a normal saiyan, instead he was incredibly frail, which was odd, due to the fact, when he was child, he was far buffer than a normal human.
Sado stood motionless, staring at five craters in the wall, his eyes drifting to each one. Each crater was larger than the other, A small grin appeared on his face before suddenly a voice shouted out at him.
" Sado! Are you ready? "
" Ready, for what? " Replied Sado, looking at Leeks standing in a doorway made from steel braces. Leeks oddly pointed up at the ceiling, before a stray Ki blast slammed into Sado's back, making him stumble forward with smoke sizzling off his back. The grin on Sado's face was instantly replaced with a cold stare glaring at Leeks, who walked into the spacious empty room.
Throughout the three years of training, Sado and the other Saiyans were taught the basics of language and Saiyan history, but most importantly, they underwent hundreds of crude tactics to improve their fighting skills. Countless scars covered Sado's arms, showcasing these tactics.
" You might have noticed that the rest of the saiyans aren't here. " Said Leeks with a bright grin on his face as he pointed his palm towards Sado, a bright green energy ball conjuring in his hand. " This is the final test. Please, don't disappoint. "
Sado's cold eyes narrowed, the words final test echoing through his brain. Although it didn't mean much to him. Every single day since he was dropped from the pod was a test, a test to survive, a test to prove he was stronger than the others.
Without a shred of hesitation, Sado lowered his stance, glaring at Leek's palm, as, without warning, the Ki blast hurled out of his hand. Sado's eyes widened slightly, leaning his body to the right, narrowly dodging the Ki blast, which grazed his shoulder, slamming into the wall behind with a thunderous bang.
The blast was far faster than he expected, but without any further thoughts, he dashed towards Leeks, firing three Ki blasts, which Leeks easily dodged, swaying his body before blocking a kick aimed at his temple. The two locked eyes before Sado pushed off Leek's forearm, flipping in the air, pulling his right arm to his chest.
"Hmph? " Mumbled Leeks, before the feeling shifting air hit his back. He spun around just in time to block three Ki blasts, which hit his guard. Pushing him back just a step," You changed their directions? " As Leeks regained his footing, a heel appeared mere inches away from his pupil.
Slamming into his head, rocking his head back. Sado gently landed on the ground, slamming a palm into Leek's chest, tightly grabbing onto his saiyan armor, as his other hand began to glow a bright yellow, firing a massive beam which engulfed Leek's whole body. Crashing into the wall, creating a massive dust cloud that hovered above the room.
Sado took a deep gasp of air, sweat beginning to pour off his nose, he stared intensely through the cloud as a voice rang out, " Good! Your good! After testing the others, I was worried that this experiment was a failure! But you're not half bad! "
Before Sado could react, Lee's fist shot through the dust, slamming into his face, rocking his head back, sending him hurling back, his feet scarping across the cold stone floor. The taste of blood filled Sado's mouth, as his face squinted in pain before returning to a blank poker face.
Throughout his years in the void, the feeling of pain was nothing new; after all, it was the first language he learned before he could even speak. He wiped the blood dripping from his lips with his thumb. When a regular saiyan child is punched, wrath or rage fills their minds, but Sado was different.
His eyes didn't show anger or hatred, they were calm, glancing up and down Leeks walking towards him through the dust cloud. Looking for a single shred of an opening, his breathing slowed, and his muscles relaxed.
Sado's lips curled slightly into a grin, not one of bloodlust or happiness but one of understanding. Fighting to him was the same as breathing, a natural occurrence of life. The weak die and the strong survive...
