Lady Mei couldn't understand why she was suddenly brought to this place.
She looked around.
Here, a blinding white layer of light flowed everywhere, the ground was pitted and scarred, and she couldn't sense any life presence. Her sensory abilities were suppressed to the limit, incapable of extending beyond her body.
Just what is going on?
She was still discussing future plans with the Dream Demons, had just become a representative for the Heavenly People, and was celebrating, feeling fully accomplished and looking forward to the future... But then a dazzling light shone, and she was brought here.
She suddenly noticed a man wearing a wig standing beside her.
The man said coldly, "Newcomer, time to work."
"Work?"
Lady Mei asked, "What do you mean?"
"Of course, it's work."
The man's tone remained emotionless, "What I do, you do. Follow along. Don't do what you shouldn't, and don't ask what you shouldn't ask."
