Great Yuan City, meaning a city with tall walls.
The walls are about one li high, with various runes painted on them to fend off the Primordial Worms. Outside the high walls lies a range of flesh mountains, where blood and flesh grow between the earth and abyss. If people are careless, they will be devoured by the flesh, and only within the high walls is it considered safe.
The people here are already accustomed to the writhing mountains outside the city and the flesh growing everywhere.
Among them are those born awakened, who can cultivate and master special abilities between heaven and earth, strengthening themselves through absorbing Earth Qi, known as Cultivators.
Every day, many Cultivators leave the city to clear blocked roads, harvest Primordial Worm flesh, and slay Evil Spirits.
