Song Chengguang and Zhao Nan quickly washed their hands and sat down at the table, where Xu Xiuxiu handed each of them a large meat bun. The two little guys ate with gusto, honoring Xu Xiuxiu's bun-making skills. After devouring one big meat bun each, they even had a smaller vegetarian bun, thankfully Xu Xiuxiu had prepared plenty. The steamed buns that Song Yuanhuan didn't finish, which was over half, were all polished off by someone else.
After dinner, Xu Xiuxiu began to tidy up the dining table, while Song Yuanhuan rolled up his sleeves and helped out, taking the chance to whisper in the kitchen about whether to send Zhao Nan home or not.
"I can't bear to send Zhao Nan back. Let's just let him stay over and sleep with Cheng Guang!" Xu Xiuxiu said softly, her tone was serious; she was actually worried that Zhao Nan would be bullied by Guo Cuiping and Shi Tao when he went back— just the thought made her heart ache, so how could she willingly send Zhao Nan back to that pit of fire?
