The conversation progressed quickly.
In less than half an hour, Gao Yi and Xinfeng had already left Thomas's house.
After flying halfway across the globe just to exchange these few words, the gains were substantial. Now, there was nothing left for Gao Yi to do.
As they stepped out of Thomas's front door, Gao Yi inexplicably sighed, then said to Xinfeng, "Exposure means losing everything."
Xinfeng was taken aback for a moment, then silently nodded.
Looking around, Gao Yi said, "Can we guarantee safety around here? If so, take a walk with me."
The walk was a pretext; the real intent was to speak alone. Understanding this, Xinfeng waved off the surrounding entourage, "You don't need to follow us."
Thomas's home was a villa, with a pleasant surrounding environment. Gao Yi followed the walkway out, and Xinfeng silently trailed beside him.
"Once someone from the underworld is exposed, they're not far from death."
