By becoming the "King" of the Saiyans, Zuke had truly become the ruler of this planet and its people. Both the Saiyans and Planet Saiya now met the conditions for being incorporated into the King's Army, meaning Zuke could place them within this domain.
However, unlike Iskandar's King's Army, which only contained the dead, Zuke was about to bring living people and an entire planet into it. He wasn't entirely sure what would happen, so he decided to have Bardock accompany him to observe and hear his thoughts.
"So, you're really going to take the Saiyans and Planet Saiya into another dimension, as you mentioned before?" Bardock followed Zuke out of the room and onto the rooftop of a building, looking down at the Saiyans and Frieza Force soldiers in the city below. "How do you plan to do it?"
"Just watch."
Zuke didn't answer Bardock's question—the King's Army was beyond technological explanation, and neither Bardock nor the Frieza Force would understand. He raised his hand and snapped his fingers.
In the next moment, the King's Army activated.
The Saiyans on Planet Saiya suddenly felt a shift in the atmosphere around them. But when they looked around, everything seemed unchanged. The ground beneath their feet was still Planet Saiya, the sky remained a vast blue expanse, and the Saiyans and Frieza Force members nearby continued with their activities as usual.
"...Huh?"
Even Bardock, standing beside Zuke, was momentarily stunned. He felt as though the entire planet had been transported into a strange space, yet upon closer inspection, nothing seemed different.
Zuke, however, closed his eyes, carefully sensing the state of the King's Army.
That's right—even though everything on Planet Saiya appears normal, the planet itself has already been integrated into the King's Army.
From now on, if Zuke wished, he could summon the King's Army in other worlds, pulling enemies into Planet Saiya and forcing them to face the might of the Saiyan race.
What delighted Zuke even more was that after placing Planet Saiya into the King's Army, he discovered that the planet still existed in the Dragon Ball world!
In other words, Planet Saiya had become a unique nexus—existing simultaneously within the King's Army's bounded field and the Dragon Ball universe.
Does this mean that if I activate the King's Army in another world and enter Planet Saiya, I can then travel from there into the Dragon Ball world?
Planet Saiya, now existing in both the King's Army and the Dragon Ball world, had effectively become a bridge between them.
Zuke had initially been worried that once he left this mission world, the Dragon Ball universe—which no longer had a main quest—would be temporarily locked like other worlds, inaccessible until a new main quest was generated.
But now, it seemed that as long as he had the King's Army, he could still enter the Dragon Ball world through Planet Saiya, even during the main quest's regeneration phase.
The only question was whether bypassing the system's restrictions in this way would have any negative consequences.
For example:
- Would the strength gained in the Dragon Ball world through this method be retained when leaving?
- Would entering the mission world this way consume playtime?
These were all unknowns. He would have to wait until he left this mission world and returned to reality to find out.
With a thought, a familiar figure materialized beside Zuke.
The moment this figure appeared, Bardock—standing behind Zuke—jumped in shock, his face paling.
Staring at the short figure, he couldn't help but exclaim:
"Frieza?! You're still alive?!"
"Don't worry, Bardock. This isn't the real Frieza."
Indeed, the figure that had appeared next to Zuke was none other than Frieza—but in his first form, the version Bardock recognized.
Zuke chuckled, reassuring Bardock.
Since Planet Saiya was now under Zuke's King's Army, the phantoms that could be manifested within it could also appear on the planet.
Just as Zuke had once projected Nail within the King's Army, his battle with Frieza was still fresh in his memory, allowing him to summon Frieza's shadow.
Of course, this phantom Frieza was 100% loyal to Zuke—after all, it was merely a shadow bound to the King's Army's domain.
In other words, this Frieza phantom could not leave Planet Saiya, as the planet was the only area covered by Zuke's King's Army.
"...Lord Zuke!"
Even so, it was more than enough. With Frieza's phantom guarding the planet, there should be no major disturbances on Planet Saiya.
---
Dodoria, seeing Zuke approach, immediately bowed in nervous respect, his bulky body tense.
He seemed terrified that a single misspoken word might get him killed on the spot.
As Frieza's trusted subordinate, he knew exactly how powerful Frieza was—if Zuke could kill Frieza, then eliminating Dodoria would be effortless.
"Enough. Stand up."
Zuke looked at Dodoria's bloated body with mild disgust.
The elites of the Frieza Force came from all corners of the universe, with races from various planets, resulting in all sorts of bizarre appearances—most of which Zuke found unpleasant.
Dodoria's face, in particular, was still bruised, clearly from a losing fight against the Saiyans earlier.
But since he was Frieza's confidant, Zuke had spared him to help stabilize the transition of power.
With Dodoria spreading the news, word of Frieza's death would soon reach every corner of the universe. And the universe would learn that Zuke had taken Frieza's place as the new ruler of the army.
From now on, the Frieza Force would be known as the Zuke Force.
However, before that, there was one more important matter to handle.
While most would not dare oppose Zuke's takeover after he killed Frieza, there was one person who undoubtedly would—Frieza's father, King Cold.
Since this world followed the "canon" timeline, Cooler presumably did not exist, meaning only King Cold needed to be dealt with.
To be continued…
