Back at Kenton's castle…
Inside a bedroom in The Servant's Chambers, laying face down on the cold gray concert floor, was Gabrielle.
The bedroom had a singular square barred up window that was poorly ventilated and gray walls. The top and the bottom of the walls were stained a dingy dark gray color from water damage. The aroma of mildew and mold filled the room, stinging the nostrils of all who breathed in the air.
Gabrielle laid balled up on the floor, her body shivering, her lips cracked and bleeding, her ankle shackled to a metal loop that stuck out of the floor and rubbed red. She slightly opened her eyes, her body feeling stiff and weak from lack of food and drink.
She shut her eyes, letting out a cough, thoughts of Ansel played through her mind as if watching a cinema.
