Ansel stared at Lexster looking down at his hands. He saw one extended hand and the other hand holding a medical bag. Ansel sighed, feeling uneasy, he refused to shake his hand.
He looked up at Lexster, as he slowly lowered his hand.
"Y-You don't have to say a word. I-I understand, Your Majesty. It's hard to focus on anything else when the ones we love are in distress, it's a difficult situation that takes our minds away but rest assured, I can help Milady," Lexster reassured, walking over to Gabrielle's bedside, across from Ansel, "You don't have to worry about a thing, she's in good hands and I'm s-sure she's going to pull through no problem."
Lexster set his medical bag down on her bedstand table and took her pulse, checking on all her vitals, as Ansel stared at him, watching him closely.
Lexster examined her thoroughly, his mind focused completely on her.
