"Gravity Game!"
Thirtyfold gravity crashed down upon the Spirit, disrupting its movements. When it stepped down, the entire ground shook violently.
"Fire Dragon's Roar!"
Flames surged forth like a giant dragon, rushing straight toward the Spirit. At the same time Sasuke unleashed his technique.
"Fire Release: Great Fire Dragon Technique!"
The searing flames struck the Spirit, scorching its body. Ron, holding the Six-Harmony Sphere, unleashed a barrage of Nen bullets.
"Corrosion Bullet!"
"Explosion Bullet!"
The fusion of the two kinds of bullets tore open several wounds across the Spirit's body, though with its current strength, none of them were fatal. Ron's eyes glinted sharply.
Boom!
The ground shattered, leaving behind a massive depression. The attacks from Natsu and Sasuke did not only strike the Spirit, they tore into the earth around it as well. One crater after another appeared, gradually connecting into a single vast pit that grew deeper and deeper.
"This is the moment!"
Natsu clapped his hands together, instantly switching positions with Sasuke. The Spirit, whose body had been pressed under thirtyfold gravity, suddenly felt the crushing force reduced to a mere fraction of normal weight. The abrupt shift threw its body off balance.
Boom!
It crashed heavily into the pit.
Natsu clapped his hands again, switching places with Sasuke once more. The weakened gravity instantly reverted to sixtyfold the normal. The overwhelming pressure pinned the Spirit completely; for the moment, it had no way of standing up.
Ron rose into the air. A massive oil barrel appeared in his hand. He hurled it into the pit, then another, and another. Soon the entire hollow was flooded with kerosene.
Natsu dropped into the pit.
"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"
Flames engulfed his fist, igniting the oil in an instant. A blazing inferno spread wildly, transforming the pit into a sea of fire. The Spirit howled in agony as the flames consumed its body, yet Natsu stood amidst the blaze unharmed, even reveling in it. Fire could not harm him; it only nourished his power.
"Eat it—and the strength surges up!"
He inhaled deeply, swallowing flames into his body, and his aura immediately swelled. The Spirit struggled to climb out, but Natsu clung to it relentlessly, while Sasuke restricted it from the side and Ron's Nen bullets kept striking. The beast was trapped; unless an outside factor interfered, escape was impossible. With no way out, it could only burn and weaken more and more under the relentless fire.
Nen battles were not only fought with Nen abilities. Technology and even common items could also be of tremendous use depending on the situation. Against the Spirit, this method Ron used was the simplest and most efficient.
In the distance, several pairs of eyes watched, faces dark.
"This isn't what we expected. That man's strength is too great. Just sending one won't bring him down."
Another figure frowned.
"Then what? Watch him kill one of us? Or feed him another victim? With the state we're in, we can't afford more losses. We won't be able to suppress the others for much longer."
The woman's eyes gleamed coldly.

They exchanged looks and reached a decision. But instead of attacking Ron immediately, they struck at his companions first. One figure flashed toward Misty.

She shed her tiger form and entered her stronger Demon Queen transformation, then turned to face the attacker.
The intruder raised an eyebrow.

The next strike came, stronger than before. Even with Demon Queen Form, defending was not easy. But Misty had another option.
"Return to Base!"
Realizing she could not resist head-on, she immediately activated her card's ability. Aura wrapped around her body, and in the next moment she reappeared at the ark's core. She hurried to alert the others through the card.
"Everyone, be careful! There are attackers, very strong ones—I can't defeat them!"
Her message spread. Nina, Shizuku, Ponzu, and Elita all grew vigilant. Ron received it as well and gave the order at once.
"Everyone return to the ark base."
Nina, Shizuku, Ponzu, and Elita all activated their cards instantly, vanishing back to the ark's core. Only Machi remained behind.
The attackers were caught off guard. Their plan had been to capture Ron's teammates as hostages, but the sudden disappearance ruined that strategy. The lone exception, Machi, proved strong enough that the opponent facing her could not finish the fight quickly.
Ron turned toward her.
"Machi, you go back as well."
He assessed the situation quickly. Four attackers, all extremely powerful. If Machi stayed, she could hold on for a while, but the help she could provide him was limited. It was better for her to retreat to the ark's base, freeing him to act without restraint.
It was not that Machi and the others were too weak. The truth was that the enemies who had come were simply too strong.
