When the carriage entered the next town, it was already dusk.
"Master, we have arrived." Hu Dao brought the carriage to a halt in front of the largest tavern in the town.
As Hu Dao's voice faded, the carriage curtain was lifted.
The first to descend from the carriage was Qin Ye.

Rong Jin had been in the carriage for so long... regardless, he was of an age still considered youthful, and had surely had enough of staying inside.

He lifted Rong Jin down.
Then, when Rong Yan exited the carriage, Hu Dao automatically stepped aside.
Qin Ye quickly reached out his hand… he hoped to assist his beloved.
