In the momentary befuddlement of Lu Yong and Ye Cheng, Qin Ye, seeing they were unaffected, directly addressed Rong Yan, "Wife, let's go! If we don't, we're going to be late."
Rong Yan glanced over at the two men before her gaze settled back on Qin Ye, giving a slight nod in acknowledgment.
Qin Ye had bought a bicycle for convenience in getting around.
He had already brought the bicycle out earlier, and now he rode it... with Rong Yan sitting behind him, he pedaled away.
At the sound of their departure, the two men finally snapped back to reality, only to find the bicycle already far off in the distance.
The men exchanged looks.
