The Taoist Debating Conference started after the Nine Heavens Battle Ghost Emperor, and has been held for thousands, nearly ten thousand years now. Its cycle ranges from four hundred to eight hundred years, and each time the Debating Conference begins, it usually signifies the change of position among the Four Great Taoist Sects, with rarely any exceptions.
The last Debating Conference was held at Taizhen Palace a few years ago, when Qing Yu was not yet in Divine Communication, but still participated quite deeply in that conference.
However, this Debating Conference is different from the past. It is a gathering of Dao, Buddhist, Mystical, and Demon factions, not just limited to the Taoist sects, and it doesn't solely represent the change of position among the Four Great Taoist Sects.
