Fang Xiaoyue didn't refuse, and instead said, "Then you can walk me home. There's a road being repaired near where I live, it's hard for cars to get through, and the streetlights are broken. It's pitch black and quite scary. Can you be my knight in shining armor for once?"

The two drove their cars, one following the other, towards Fang Xiaoyue's home.
