"Young Master, we're here," Xue Tui reported as he approached the door.
Sun Yixie, Murong Ji, and Liu Ming all looked toward Xue Tui. They saw that both Mr. Xue and Tang Weizhi, now standing at the doorway, had bowed their heads. There was only one change in their appearance compared to when they had left—they each sported a large golden chain around their necks.
"Mr. Sun, what is this..." Murong Ji didn't quite understand what was going on.
Sun Yixie immediately clarified for him, "Brother Murong, can't you see? I had them 'bear gold as penance.'"
"Bear..." Murong Ji started to repeat the words but then realized something.
He then thought to himself, "This kid... can't differentiate 'gold' from 'punishment'..."
