After waiting for about half an hour, suddenly there was the sound of the door opening; Ye Fan and Lu Xiaoman's foster mother stopped chatting and turned to look at the door.
"It must be Manman coming back," Lu Xiaoman's foster mother said with certainty and a smile.
Ye Fan nodded and said, "I'll go greet Xiaoman."
"Go ahead," Lu Xiaoman's foster mother responded, thinking that Ye Fan opening the door was meant to surprise Lu Xiaoman.
So, Ye Fan got up and walked towards the door.
Just as Ye Fan reached the door, it happened to open.
As the door was pulled open, Ye Fan saw Lu Xiaoman's delicate face, pale and weary, which made his heart ache suddenly.
"Xiaoman," he couldn't help but call out affectionately.
Lu Xiaoman suddenly saw Ye Fan's figure and immediately turned her head to leave.
Ye Fan was unwilling to let Lu Xiaoman leave and quickly reached out to grab Lu Xiaoman's soft hand, looking at her with imploring eyes.
