Within the boundless void, waves of violet-red light shimmered—beautiful yet deadly. Twisting streaks and blotches of color flowed aimlessly through every corner of this vast dimension.
This was the deepest region of the Imaginary Space—silent, still, and infinite.
"Uuuhh... The Queen doesn't want me anymore... uuuhh..."
She remembered the moment of her birth, how she had come into existence alongside her Queen's awakening. When her consciousness first bloomed, she had been overjoyed—ready to finally emerge into the world.
Crack!
But the Queen had simply... shoved her back in.
Taking a deep breath—inhale... exhale—the loyal companion Honkai Beast reminded herself to be understanding. Surely, the Queen had her reasons. Perhaps the timing simply wasn't right yet.
So she waited. And waited. And waited some more... until finally, the Queen began nurturing a new Honkai Beast body.
Only to discover—someone else had taken her place.
The newly-formed companion body wasn't for her.
It was me! It was supposed to be me! She screamed inwardly. I was the first! I came before anyone else! The new body, the loyal assistant at Her Majesty's side, even the one who gets to stay close to her—why... why did it all go to that old man?!
Me, the Queen's original companion Honkai Beast, defeated by that white-haired fossil?!
Aaaargh!!!
Unwilling. Furious. Heartbroken.
But... there was nothing she could do. It was, after all, the Queen's will.
And as the Queen's most faithful little "silken heart," she would endure.
"Damn it! It must've been that old man Sebas! He must've done something to steal her favor! Just you wait—when I get out, I'll make you pay!" she repeated for what must have been the thousandth time within the endless void.
Then, she was thrown deeper into the Imaginary Space—left to continue nurturing her essence.
And so she waited again. And again. And again... until she began to wonder whether the Queen had forgotten her completely.
Uuuhh... My Queen... I'm your true companion Honkai Beast... You haven't forgotten me, right?
...
Until, one day—
"Now... it is time for you to awaken."
A cool, gentle voice spoke—familiar beyond doubt. The kind of familiarity etched deep into her soul.
The Queen!
In an instant, the violet-red orb that was her form quivered, awakening fully. The Queen had come for her!
As she emerged, the familiar radiance of the Imaginary Space gave way to a warm, almost tangible light—a delicate sensation enveloping her consciousness.
Through spiritual perception, she saw her: the long, snow-white hair cascading to her waist, the ornate headdress gleaming faintly, the face so breathtakingly radiant it felt unreal.
Her Queen. Her everything.
But there was no time for adoration. The moment she entered the physical realm, Selene's thoughts flowed directly into her consciousness.
So, the Queen had not forgotten her after all. She hadn't been abandoned. The delay had merely been because Selene hadn't found a suitable vessel.
Trembling softly, she began to merge into the vessel Selene had prepared—a magnificent yellow-green dragon sculpture coiled upon itself.
Buzz...
As violet Honkai energy fused with the black miasma of the Jackie Chan Adventures world, the moment the energy surged into the dragon vessel, countless fragments of knowledge flooded her mind.
Demon of Fire... One of the Eight Demon Sorcerers... The Zodiac Talismans...
The vessel was powerful—ancient, with a high rank of existence.
But... it was hideous. That color has to go! Yellow-green? Absolutely not!
...
Snap!
"Sebas, I've got a surprise for you." Selene snapped her fingers, a faintly mischievous look in her eyes as she opened a rift into the Imaginary Space.
"My apologies, Milady," Sebas said with a polite bow. "This old servant truly cannot guess what you have planned."
He smiled faintly, stepping to her side with a teasing tone. "Surely you're not going to tell me you've been practicing etiquette behind my back?"
"How could I possibly? You'll see soon enough. Come along."
They stepped through the violet-glowing portal, and in an instant, the world around them shifted. Sebas' gaze fell upon a massive, cocoon-like structure—black and purple, pulsing faintly.
It looked familiar. Too familiar. A strange sense of déjà vu and kinship stirred within him.
"What is this?" Sebas murmured, though a suspicion already gnawed at the back of his mind.
It couldn't be... another companion Honkai Beast?
"Exactly right, Sebas," Selene said, eyes glinting with amusement. "And the best part? She's the original owner of the body you now inhabit."
She raised a finger to her lips, smiling playfully. "So tell me, Sebas—how does it feel to meet your original self?"
A companion Honkai Beast—by definition—was a high-tier Honkai Beast born alongside a Herrscher. Unlike ordinary superior-class Honkai Beasts, a companion possessed one critical trait: its power grew proportionally with that of its Herrscher.
Because of this unique feature, each Herrscher typically had only one companion. After all, a creature with limitless potential that scaled endlessly with its master's strength was far too broken to exist in multiples.
Selene, however, had found a loophole. She split what was originally one complete entity into two parts—the shell and the consciousness. Sebas inherited the body, while the consciousness was left dormant, preserved until a suitable vessel could be found.
And so, after tremendous effort, Selene had managed to create two companion Honkai Beasts—a feat bordering on impossible.
"Uh... Milady, I imagine she must... hold quite the grudge against me," Sebas said awkwardly, standing one step behind Selene.
He wasn't wrong. The situation was undeniably awkward. As a proper gentleman, stealing another's still-developing body and then ignoring them for years afterward hardly seemed honorable.
If it had been an enemy, Sebas would have had no qualms. But doing this to one of their own—it did leave a bad taste in his mouth.
Selene chuckled softly. "Hahaha... Sebas, I'll leave the task of calming her down to you. Hmm... I'm sure she'll be quite easy to—how should I say—convince."
"Uh... Milady, that doesn't sound very reassuring..."
Buzz...
Before either of them could continue, a deep thump echoed through the void.
Thump... Thump... Thump...
Each pulse from the massive violet-black cocoon reverberated like the heartbeat of a colossal beast awakening from the abyss. With every beat, the glowing cracks along its surface contracted, gradually shifting from dark purple to a luminous white-blue.
It's close.
Selene and Sebas exchanged a look.
Raising her hands, Selene gathered an immense surge of concentrated violet Honkai particles. Under her precise control, the energy coalesced into a radiant stream and poured into the cocoon—half still dark, half turning pale blue—like a river of stars flowing in reverse.
Soon, the balance tipped. The white-blue hue spread rapidly, devouring the remaining darkness. The cocoon became translucent, fissures spreading across its surface as light bled through.
When the transformation was complete, the once-yellow-green dragon sculpture within was gone—replaced by a majestic white-and-blue dragon, its form sleek, elegant, and divine.
"Awaken."
At Selene's command, the creature stirred.
Four glowing blue eyes snapped open, blazing with ethereal light.
And then—
ROAR!!!
