Within the vast emptiness of the world bubble, Zeke did not immediately immerse himself in dedicated scientific research.
The immediate concerns in the real world had subsided temporarily, but on the other side, Wendy and Seele were still trapped within the precarious Theater of Domination in Virtual Space!
Meanwhile, after Sirin's retreat, her next logical step would be to enhance her power, aiming to regain her peak form when she wielded six abilities.
In the real world, Raiden Mei is protected by formidable guardians, and Ana's ability has already been indirectly acquired through the Herrscher of a Thousand People. Therefore, it wasn't difficult to guess Sirin's next target.
As for the issue of The Theater of Domination detaching from the real world and drifting in Virtual Space—well, let's call it a joke; nothing in Virtual Space could challenge the Herrscher of the Void, who masters spatial abilities.
Thus, Zeke intensified his focus, which truthfully had been ongoing since the beginning. He now closely monitored events within the Theater of Domination, prepared to intervene at any moment.
Wendy reunites with both Seeles within the Theater of Domination.
"You two... Hmm, not bad." Wendy circled around them, stroking her chin and nodding ambiguously.
"Wendy..."
"Quit stalling! Let's wrap this up already; I'm losing my patience!"
One spoke softly with a hint of bashfulness, while the other exuded rebellious sass—identical appearances but contrasting demeanors.
Wendy spread her hands apart with a light chuckle. Since being abruptly pulled into the Theater of Domination, this was the first time she felt somewhat uplifted. The scene unfolding before her truly was quite amusing.
"I want to resolve this too, but they've all gone into hiding. It's their territory after all, making it quite troublesome to find them," Wendy sighed, shaking her head helplessly.
After Sirin gained control over the Dominion Authority, not only did the host and others outside notice its suppression, but even the dolls within the Theater of Domination felt the same oppressive force.
They understood well that this suppression resulted from changes to the Dominion Authority.
The dolls' fearlessness stemmed from their ability to respawn, relying on the power of the Dominion Ability for resurrection.
Unaware of the host's plan or the origin of these changes—Sirin—they couldn't pinpoint why the authority had altered. Naturally, some dolls began doubting their chances of resurrection. Combined with the overwhelming combination of Wendy, Veliona, and Seele, which they could not defeat, it became inevitable that, after countless sacrifices as time passed, seeking escape to preserve their lives was a logical choice.
"Why not just shatter this entire space?" Veliona suggested maliciously.
Wendy shook her head once more. "That won't work. Normally, despite being pulled into the Theater of Domination, as a complete Herrscher, I should still be able to perceive the real world through my Void Portal... In other words, I ought to have the capability to break free from spatial constraints and return to reality. But now, I can no longer sense the direction back."
"What do you mean?"
"They must have done something to interfere with our connection. Without a sense of direction, we can't break through this space; otherwise, we risk falling into the boundless Virtual Space—extremely dangerous territory. Although we each possess Void Portals, they only establish links on the Honkai Energy level and aren't related to spatial manipulation. Only the Herrscher of the Void can freely navigate the Virtual Space."
Wendy rubbed her temples, feeling genuinely perplexed.
She wasn't afraid of direct combat but rather these peculiar tactics. No matter how powerful one might be, without the appropriate countermeasures, it leaves them helpless.
"Bang!"
Veliona scowled deeply as her massive metallic claws slammed forcefully into the ground. Irritated, she demanded, "So what do you propose we do?"
"I see two options. First, capture a living Herrscher of a Thousand People and force them to reveal the method to return. Second, since Kiana is the Herrscher of the Void, once we've been missing for long enough, she'll undoubtedly come searching. We just need to wait for her to open a channel between worlds."
"I choose the first option!"
"Actually, we can pursue both simultaneously. While looking for tongues, we're also waiting for Kiana to find us—it's simply about seeing which approach bears fruit first!" Wendy wiggled her fingers forming a 'V' shape, smiling slightly.
Veliona let out three hearty laughs, licked her lips, and wore a menacing expression brimming with lethal intent.
With their plans set, Seele tightened her grip on her scythe, looking between them with timid eyes like a young animal before nodding and mustering up courage.
"Seele...will do her best."
As they were about to commence their search, a black hole slowly opened in the sky above them.
Seele gazed upward, blinking innocently. "Is that... Big Sister Kiana coming to find us?"
After all, from what she knew, only Kiana, wielding the Space Authority, could create such a black hole.
"Watch out, Seele!"
"Get behind me!"
Veliona's and Wendy's expressions shifted simultaneously as they positioned themselves protectively on either side of Seele.
"Black-Seele, you felt it too?"
"Duh, the hatred and malice were practically under our noses—how could anyone miss it?"
"I sensed an incredibly potent and malevolent Honkai Energy... Could this be some trump card of the Herrscher of a Thousand People?"
"If they had this capability, why bother with all those petty tricks?"
"You're right. Let's prepare ourselves; whoever or whatever is coming means no good."
Even as Wendy finished speaking, she ascended into the air, her dress and short hair fluttering with the surge of Honkai Energy, her eyes glowing with a deep emerald hue.
This appeared to be an extraordinary turn of events, but it suited Wendy just fine. She feared only dilemmas that couldn't be resolved with raw power; as for direct confrontations, she had no qualms.
Veliona also intended to charge forward with her massive metallic claws, eager to test them out. However, upon glancing back at the helpless little bunny clutching her scythe, she hesitated.
"Tch!" Veliona clicked her tongue in annoyance, reached behind herself, and pulled the bewildered Seele close, almost pressing against her own body.
"Stay here, don't wander off—this is my vessel, after all. Don't mess it up!"
"Yes! Seele understands, I'll be careful." Seele nodded obediently, resembling a chick pecking for grains.
"They're coming!" Wendy suddenly warned.
Emerging slowly from the black hole was a familiar figure: white-haired with golden eyes, graceful and elegant, draped in a luxurious flowing white gown.
"Kiana? No, not quite her!" Wendy raised her hand, Ideal Fluid swirling within her grasp, ready to launch an attack at any moment.
Upon arriving in this realm, Sirin closed her eyes, analyzing the precise structure of the space around her, seemingly oblivious to the three vigilantly awaiting figures below.
"A delicate yet feeble subspace, interesting indeed." With a thoughtful expression, Sirin opened her eyes, lifted her hand, and snapped her fingers.
"Snap!"
Following a crisp snap of fingers, the hazy sky abruptly darkened, and the spatial dimensions expanded infinitely outward. The destabilizing world barrier, detached from reality, instantly stabilized.
Around Wendy, Seele, and Veliona, the shattered ruins of the Colosseum seemed to rewind time, gradually restoring themselves into an even grander and more expansive form than before.
From her towering white throne, Sirin slowly descended, seated herself with one leg crossed, and directed her emotionless golden gaze towards the trio below. An immense Honkai Energy, nearly saturating the entire realm, descended oppressively like the heavens collapsing.
