"Hmm..."
With shrill whistles piercing the air, several platinum-hued Subspace Lances immobilized Kiana, who was momentarily helpless after expending so much power.
Then, Sirin turned toward the Architect, who leaned slightly forward, his expression obsequious.
His heart quivered, and he hastily held out both hands, offering a deep crimson gemstone.
"O great Queen of the Void, Herrscher of a Thousand People presents you with this gift to fully manifest your being."
Without a word, Sirin gazed at him emotionlessly, her golden eyes treating him like a lifeless object.
The Architect felt beads of cold sweat forming—although, considering his doll body made from non-biological materials, sweating was not technically possible.
Then, Sirin grasped the gemstone.
"You ants have quite some nerve, but..." A cold and exquisite curve formed at the corner of her lips as the gemstone gradually merged with her palm.
Instantly, an indescribable sense of oppression emerged... To be precise, it surfaced clearly within every remaining doll's body, including the Architect's.
"But this suits me perfectly."
Her faint smile widened further as she glanced sideways, her indifferent gaze making the Architect shudder.
"Great..."
Whoosh!
A slender yet incredibly sharp white ribbon sliced the Architect's doll body into countless shards. Subsequently, the white ribbon coiled behind Sirin, transforming into the silver-white Subspace Lance.
Simultaneously, an immensely terrifying surge of Honkai Energy erupted from the girl akin to a deity, slowly lifting her body into the air.
The finest dust particles, grains of sand on the ground, and clouds at the horizon trembled silently.
"This is the feeling..."
"Humans..."
"Let judgment descend!"
BOOM!
As the Queen of the Void announced her return, a terrifying shockwave swept like a typhoon, devastating everything for miles around without relenting.
In a distant, shadowy corner, the four dolls fell silent simultaneously, feeling an inexplicable pressure.
"Host, provide an explanation," the General commanded coldly.
The Pope and Dean likewise turned their gazes towards the host, who was gazing intently into the distance.
The host looked back and nonchalantly replied:
"When the Herrscher of the Void accepts our core, there are two possible outcomes: Firstly, she could be reborn using our power while being drawn into the rules of the 'unorganized masses,' becoming akin to us. Secondly... given that she has previously wielded other Herrscher abilities as the Herrscher of the Void, it's not inconceivable for her to gain another control ability."
"...What do you mean?"
"I mean, we were extensions of the control ability, like its limbs, whereas she has become its master."
"Just what are you still scheming?"
"Nothing anymore. You see, the more one employs schemes and machinations, the more they realize there are limits... What I'm saying is, from the very beginning, the esteemed Queen of the Void surpassed our reach. Now, let us submit to fate."
The host sighed, feeling both frustrated by their helplessness and, paradoxically, relieved.
Indeed, every scheme has its limits. No matter how they stirred chaos, once Anti-Entropy and Schicksal decided to unify the world, there was nothing they could do to stop it.
Only true power can stand against true power.
Thus, despite knowing full well that the Herrscher of the Void might seize control, the host cautiously proceeded with this step—only for the situation to finally spiral completely out of hand.
Nevertheless, the powerless predicament had changed!
Bowing to the stronger one has been the rule since ancient times, and there's nothing wrong with it. As long as this master is strong enough to lead them in overturning the world—being subservient can also be considered an honor!
No longer concerned with the reactions of the remaining three, the host meticulously tidied her clothing and hair, preparing herself both outwardly and mentally, ever ready for the master's summons.
"It's this feeling—the familiar power, familiar abilities, and even this..."
Sirin lifted her hand, and crystalline shards of ice coalesced on her palm, shimmering with star-like glimmers.
"The Ice Authority? Now that's refreshing!"
"Sirin!!"
"Boom!!!"
A jet-black fist clashed against crossed Subspace Lances, stirring up a fierce gust that whipped Sirin's pure white hair.
With a sidelong glance, Sirin's golden eyes, devoid of emotion, fixed upon the black-armored girl beside her. Her figure was graceful and athletic, like a sleek panther brimming with pent-up strength, exuding a wild allure.
Unfortunately, Sirin had no appreciation for such beauty. Instead, she felt genuine disgust towards this girl who shared her origin and now appeared identical to herself.
"Haven't you realized yet? As a blasphemer, devoid of faith and willingly fallen, you're unworthy of divine grace. The proof lies in the fact that after our separation, God's bestowed abilities have not favored you at all. Only I am the chosen herald... Perish, weakling."
Multiple Subspace Lances materialized in mid-air, their sharp tips uniformly aimed at Kiana clad in black armor.
"Your armor can regenerate, but I wonder if your body can do the same? This is the real world—let's see how long your so-called determination and faith will last!"
BOOM! With Sirin's menacing grin, each Subspace Lance unleashed explosive force upon Kiana.
Unsurprisingly, she was sent crashing back to the ground. After tumbling several times, she struggled to her feet, panting heavily as the fractured black armor rapidly repaired itself before their eyes.
"All that divine gibberish, yet I still don't understand what you're trying to say. Anyway, I won't let you interfere anymore! And give me back this ability that could have helped Zeke!"
BANG!
The black armor surged at full power, trailing blue ionized flames, propelling Kiana high into the sky for battle against Sirin.
Their strikes shattered the air with immense destructive energy, only to be perfectly defended by the agile Subspace Lances. Unlike the balanced stalemate within the consciousness domain, now Sirin had fully seized control of the Void Authority, while Kiana found herself in an unprecedented state of powerlessness.
Such disparity couldn't be bridged solely by will alone.
Floating effortlessly, Sirin lazily yawned.
"I'm tired of this monkey show. Farewell, foolish weakling."
The ribbons formed from the Subspace Lance wrapped around Kiana's body, gradually squeezing and showing signs of cracking her black armor.
Under Sirin's indifferent gaze, the ribbons dragged Kiana down with crushing force before pulling her across the ground like a plow.
The black armor continuously suffered damage and rapidly repaired itself, resisting primarily against the tearing power of the Subspace Lance. However, eventually, the rate of repair could no longer keep up with the destruction.
"Boom!!"
After demolishing a small hill, Kiana was flung away, her powerless body slamming heavily to the ground. She tumbled for several meters before lying still.
Simultaneously, the black armor fully retreated into leg bands, emitting electronic static as it shattered and fell from Kiana's thighs.
A multitude of Subspace Lances appeared above the unconscious Kiana, their tips pointed downward.
"Disappear," commanded Sirin, seated amidst the void, as she waved her hand, sending the spears raining down like a deadly shower.
