There are more ambushes on Neji and Tenten as they are carrying a dead weight like Lee and a woman, Tenten. So other team members attacked thinking Neji's team as weak. They defended themselves. Neji used his rotation and gentle fist and Tenten used weapons.
As they fought two teams, they got both scrolls they needed. But they were exhausted.
But seeing the tower which is very near to them, they forced themselves to move there as Lee is still unconscious and Neji already checked and saw many bones are crushed inside Lee. Considering the seriousness of Lee's injuries, they moved as fast as they could.
But they were ambushed by the team which served under Naruto just before.
They both engaged in battle and as both Neji and Tenten are exhausted, they lost due to chakra drain.
If not, they would have overpowered all of the 11 members.
The team which served Naruto already got one earth scroll and now they got both scrolls.
With this they obtained three sets. They discussed among themselves and finalized. Six members passed and the remaining people gave up. And for the other two scrolls, they buried it at different places.
As Neji with carrying Lee on his shoulder and Tenten arrived at the tower.
Might Guy rushed towards Lee with frown. Looking at Neji, asks, "What happened?"
Kakashi, who is near to Guy, also came.
Neji, looking at Guy, says, "We have one scroll. When we attacked a girl who is holding the scroll we wanted. Even though we three attacked, she overpowered. Then Lee used some technique that he never showed us before. He later got his bones broken with the strike of lady, later he collapsed."
As Kakashi heard this, he first assumed the lady might be Orochimaru.
Neji then says, "Lee used some weird technique and called, sixth gate of joy – open. I don't know where he learned this technique, but I think it's a forbidden technique."
As Kakashi heard this, he snapped out of previous thoughts and assumptions.
Looking at Guy, Kakashi says, "GUY… how can you teach your disciple that technique?"
Guy's face looked in the mix of disgust and anger. "YOU don't know how we feel. You born as a genius always excels in everything. In the same way, in his class, all excels in the chakra and hand-to-hand combat except Naruto. When I see Lee, even though he is born as a failure in this harsh world with no chakra and not a born genius but still trying to work harder than anyone to prove everyone that he is great. He reminded me of me when I am in my academies. That's why I teach him. Is there any problem with that?"
Kakashi did not speak after that. Seeing Guy is in not a good mood, Kakashi thought it's not the right time to ask about the details of Guy teaching eight gateways.
Guy continued his discussion with the doctor.
After few hours, exam concluded and results passed.

Hokage came along with all jonins who are assigned to teach for the present batch of academy and some are from previous batch academy jonins of Leaf. Along with them, Sand Village jonin also presented now.
Hokage says with his commanding voice as he is the head of Leaf Village,
"Congratulations for all the members who have passed the second test. All the members who failed in first and second test need to appear for Chunin re-exam in the next year, if you want to become a Chunin. As for the members who passed second test, your qualification of Chunin is based on your village's perspective. We will assign marks based on your performances. From now on, duels will take place. And the ones who passed from these duels will need to perform the next duels in front of all villagers, lords, and nobles. We expect you to perform well in that arena and make your academy proud."
Hokage continued, "If anyone want to quit now, you can."
As Hokage said, some people raised their hand showing that they want to quit.
The members from just before Naruto team also quitted.
Then they made a final list of duel matches.
The person came. He looked like a weak person from outside perspective but strong.
He coughs quite frequently.

seeing him coughing reppeateadly thinks, 'I feel pity for his wife.'
Baki, who is standing opposite to Naruto, looked at Naruto like throwing daggers. His killing intent got increased. Hokage did sense it but kept silent about it.
Baki is a Sound Village ninja. He somehow got the info that Naruto tortured and killed their teammates.
Baki thinks, Since it's the Leaf Village, I will not kill but humiliate him and injure him heavily.
With that mindset, he prepared for the next battle.
