The women laughed harder at Seraphine's reaction.
"He doesn't have any daughters in his harem," Sylvia pointed out. "You would be a first in that regard."
"Aunty!" Seraphine's blush deepened. She looked to Eleanor for support, but her mother simply smiled with a knowing expression that suggested she wouldn't be much help.
"Darling, you are quite beautiful," Eleanor said. "And you clearly inherited more than just your father's eyes and power. That figure of yours..." She gestured vaguely at Seraphine's crimson gown and the curves it displayed. "Well, let's just say genetics were very kind to you."
"This is insane!" Seraphine sputtered, though she couldn't quite hide the small, traitorous part of her that was... flattered. She quickly pushed that thought away. "I'm your daughter!"
"So was Eleanor his sister," Gregoria pointed out with grin. "And Regina his mother. I'm his grandmother."
