Spider-woman(Jessica Drew) POV:
The baby picked one hell of a time for playing kick ball in my stomach. Should've taken maternity leave just like hubby suggested. I was about to leave until there was a knock on the door of Jefferson household.
Davis Jefferson POV:
" I'm worried about Miles, mio." Says Rio while hugging me. " Well, I don't like her but I think she's going to help our boy." I say to calm her mind. At that moment, there was a knock at the door. I opened to see two boys, barely 15 standing there. One had red hair and was wearing a white suit with a black undershirt. The other one was a blonde kid wearing a red trenchcoat adorned in golden embroidery with a military peak cap adorned with a golden double headed eagle insignia.
In his back was a massive chainsaw with a sword handle strapped to his back. " Lieutenant Jefferson?" Said the red haired kid with an English accent. " Yes?" I replied reaching for my service revolver. " Don't bother with your gun. If we wanted you dead we wouldn't have been polite." Said the blonde kid. " So, how can I help you two fine kids this evening?" I ask not trying to feel irked by the demeanor of the blonde one.
" The matter we wish to discuss with you and Mrs. Morales involves the status of your son Miles Gonzalo Morales. May we enter?" Said the red haired one diplomatically. Against my better judgement I let them enter. They sat down at the dinner table and conjured out tea and cookies from nothing? " I believe introductions are in order. My name is Nigel Thrall, transcendent psyker in service to President Jonathan Keyes Long." Introduced the red haired kid.
" My name is Bradley Morton. Commander of the first Stormtrooper legion in service to President Jonathan Keyes Long." Introduced the blonde haired kid. " Your son is the new Spider-Man." Said Nigel without preamble. " Okay, your just crazy." I say finally losing my cool. " Spider-Man shows great interest in your personal life and thoughts on your son every time you guys chit chat.
Did that never strike you to be odd?" Asks Brad. I was about to refute but then it all clicked in place. " Where's Miles now?" I ask. " He's in a unique situation. He's currently in Earth-42 where after your counter part's death Miles of that reality became the Prowler while that spot guy supercharged with multidimensional radiation is coming to kill you but don't worry we'll fix him. What matters now is you two help Miles-42 because if he is left to be treated by Mr. Long he won't be having a very fun time." Explained Nigel.
" Can you take us there?" I ask. " That's the plan. Also Brad, take care of the the itsy bitsy spider spying on us and don't kill her." Says Nigel and Brad just jumped through the fire escape knuckles crackling. Nigel retrieves a staff from thin air and slams it down at the floor and a shimmering portal of incomprehensible colors formed.
" Please after you two." Said Nigel while respectfully ushering us in. " What about your friend?" Asks Mrs. Rio. " He has his way." Nigel replied and we walked in.
