Hearing this, Bone You froze. Even within the Soul Clan, Dou Saints were the absolute pinnacle. These ancient figures were rarely seen, and unless the clan leader summoned them personally, they wouldn't respond to just anyone. Clearly, Bone You couldn't call for help at will.
Seeing Bone You's hesitation, Mo Yu smirked in disdain. "Since you can't summon reinforcements, then prepare to die."

"Die!" Mo Yu's cold voice rang out as he watched the fleeing figures. His voice was calm, but it carried a bone-chilling menace.
As he spoke, black lightning bolts shot out from the massive thunderball in the sky, spreading like vines. These black tendrils of electricity quickly extended outward, ensnaring Bone You and the others.
"Ah!" The unlucky followers of the Hall of Souls and Tianming Sect screamed as the lightning coursed through them. No matter how hard they tried to repel the foreign energy, it was no use. Their bodies were destroyed from the inside, their lives extinguished.
In just under three minutes, the black lightning left behind nothing but charred remains. Everyone except Bone You and the other four had been reduced to ash, carried away by the wind.
"Mo Yu, spare me! The Tianming Sect will become a subordinate force of Yuanfu!" The Tianming old demon, terrified by the massacre, finally shouted out, offering his submission.
"Oh? In that case, stand aside," Mo Yu said, narrowing his silver eyes and surprisingly nodding in agreement.
The old demon was taken aback. He hadn't expected Mo Yu to actually show him mercy. After all, it's a common practice in the martial world to eliminate enemies completely. He had never spared his own foes, always cutting them down to prevent future problems.
"Young people are so easy to fool..." The old demon relaxed, but inwardly he sneered, looking at Mo Yu with disdain. He quickly moved toward safety, planning his next move.
Seeing that Mo Yu hadn't attacked him, the old demon's mind started racing. He had only pretended to surrender as a temporary solution, and he would flee Yuanfu at the first opportunity.

I may be old, but I'm willing to follow him and build a great legacy! Bone You, the Hall of Souls is no place for decent folk. Why don't you join me in serving Mo Yu? Though the old demon's surrender was just a ruse, he wasn't going to show his cards while Mo Yu was still watching. Instead, he played along and tried to rope Bone You into joining them.

Bone You's body froze as the air around him solidified, leaving him no room to escape.

Just as Mo Yu's palm was about to land on Bone You, the surrounding space suddenly rippled. A dry, blackened hand shot out from the rift with lightning speed, intercepting the attack.
"A Soul Clan Dou Saint? Finally showing yourself, huh?" Mo Yu's eyes narrowed as he watched the withered hand emerge from the void.
The hand was shriveled, like black skin stretched tightly over bones. Strange, dark patterns crawled across it, emitting a faint black mist. It seemed to drain the light from the surrounding area, as if it could pull in souls.
Mo Yu's palm collided with the blackened fist, and dark, deathly lightning crackled from his hand, wrapping around the withered arm.
"Crackle!"
The owner of the arm seemed wary of the lightning, as the dark patterns on its surface writhed like snakes, surging to meet the black lightning. The two forces clashed violently, canceling each other out.
"Clang!"
The withered hand suddenly struck out again, knocking Mo Yu back. At the same time, it grabbed Bone You and pulled him into the space rift. The suction of the rift intensified, drawing Bone You and the others inside.
"Trying to escape?" Mo Yu's eyes turned cold as he stepped forward, fingers moving like lightning. He jabbed Bone You and the others before they could disappear.
"Ah!"
Blood gushed from the fresh wounds Mo Yu inflicted, and Bone You screamed in agony.
Watching from the side, the old demon felt a chill run down his spine, grateful he had surrendered in time. Otherwise, he'd likely have met a grizzly end.
"You'll stay right here," Mo Yu sneered, his fingers aimed at Bone You's head, ready to finish him off.
"Hmph, you dare push your luck, boy!" From within the rift, a cold, ancient voice echoed as the black hand yanked Bone You to safety. A single black finger shot out, meeting Mo Yu's strike head-on.
"Boom!"
As the two forces collided, a terrifying energy storm erupted, shattering the space around them.
Mo Yu took several steps back, glaring at the black hand. The mysterious Dou Saint of the Soul Clan had intervened to save Bone You.
"Without Lei Ying of the Thunder Clan behind you, we would have killed you a thousand times over by now!" the ancient voice sneered from the rift.
"Even without the Thunder Clan, the eight ancient clans agreed that Dou Saints aren't allowed to act freely. Do you plan to break that rule?" Mo Yu shot back, coldly.
The voice chuckled, "Don't worry, that agreement won't matter much longer because…"
Before the voice could finish, the Dou Saint of the Soul Clan disappeared into the rift, taking Bone You and the others with him. The eerie words lingered ominously in the air.
As the Soul Clan Dou Saint's presence vanished, the rift slowly closed, leaving the battlefield eerily silent.
Mo Yu stood quietly, staring at the space where the rift had been. He knew exactly what the Dou Saint's cryptic words meant.
The Soul Clan must have been preparing for this for some time. Once they wiped out the remaining ancient clans and gained the inheritance of the ancient Dou Emperor, their leader, Hun Tiandi, would become the first Dou Emperor in nearly ten thousand years.
Once that happened, the Soul Clan would no longer be bound by any ancient agreements.
Sighing softly, Mo Yu turned his gaze toward the gathered disciples and elders of Yuanfu. They had all fallen silent, shaken by the terrifying battle they had just witnessed.
"All elders, resume your duties. Tend to the wounded, and disciples, resume your training," Mo Yu ordered, his voice calm but commanding.
"Yes, sir!" came the collective response. After witnessing their leader's strength, the respect and awe Mo Yu commanded within Yuanfu reached god-like levels.
After ensuring order was restored, Mo Yu returned to the square. Thanks to his timely intervention, Uncle Snake, Xiao Yu, and the others had only suffered minor injuries, and their conditions were already improving.
After exchanging pleasantries with them and sharing the joy of his breakthrough to Dou Saint, Mo Yu approached the Tianming old demon.
The old demon, noticing Mo Yu's approach, felt his heart tighten. Mo Yu smiled slightly and said, "Come with me."
