Chapter 446: Tian Shuangzi, Ice River Valley vs. The Army of Poison Beasts

Three days had passed since Mo Yu and his group returned to Tianhuang City. In a courtyard within the Liu family estate, Mo Yu gazed at Qingzhi, who was now emanating a unique black, icy aura. Mo Yu raised an eyebrow and asked, "Have you mastered the Ice Sovereign Technique?"
From the black ice surrounding Qingzhi, Mo Yu could sense an intense cold and destructive force, one that was as powerful as, if not more terrifying than, the Sky-Cold Qi.
Qingzhi stood and respectfully replied, "Master, the Ice Sovereign Technique has three levels: the first level is White Ice, the second is Black Ice, and the third is Blue Ice, which is comparable to a Heaven-rank technique. I haven't fully mastered the third level yet, but I have a good grasp of the second level, Black Ice. From what he knew, only Dou Zong-level experts could practice the Ice Sovereign Technique, and even within the higher ranks of the Ice River Valley, most had only reached the level of White Ice. Now, with the second-level Ice Sovereign Technique and the sub-lightning of the Ice Spirit Silver Lightning, Qingzhi's combat power was firmly established at the Dou Zun level.
"Mo Yu, the Black Bat King has woken up," Xiao Yixian said with a smile as she walked into the courtyard.
Hearing this, Mo Yu was slightly taken aback but then smiled. Although the Black Bat King was just a subordinate he had taken in along the way, it was still good to see that he had survived.
"Good, let him rest for a while," Mo Yu said, trusting Liu Qing's ability to handle things. He was confident that Black Bat would fully recover in no time.

Throughout Tianhuang City, countless people stared in awe at the vast army from Ice River Valley. The overwhelming cold emanating from these people spread across the land, altering the very climate of the region. The sudden drop in temperature and the falling snow were all caused by the immense cold radiating from the Ice River Valley forces!

"Surrender the Calamity Poison Girl, or today, Tianhuang City will be destroyed!"
As the people of the city trembled in fear due to the cold, a harsh, elderly voice echoed through the air, carried by powerful Dou Qi, reaching every ear in the city.

High in the air, several white-robed figures hovered in the sky, looking down coldly at the city. Leading them was none other than Tianshe, who had escaped from Qingzhi's grasp previously.
Beside him were several powerful elders of the Ice River Valley, as well as an elderly man dressed in a white fur robe. The old man's hair and beard were white, and he wore a kindly smile, but even Tianshe looked at him with a flicker of fear in his eyes.
When the people of the city saw the figures in the sky, a fresh wave of panic swept through them.

Fear and even disgust filled their gazes as they looked at her. The Calamity Poison Body was universally feared on the Dou Qi Continent.
Seeing their reactions, Xiao Yixian's face darkened, and her hands clenched tightly. She had grown used to such treatment, but it still stung. However, the Liu family had treated her well so far, so she held back her anger.
"Don't worry. I'll handle this. The Liu family and Tianhuang City won't suffer because of this," a calm voice spoke beside her.
Mo Yu stood on the roof, his body straight as a spear, exuding a subtle but powerful aura. He wasn't about to let the Liu family or the city face the consequences of this situation.
Hearing Mo Yu's reassurance, the members of the Liu family exchanged glances. Despite Mo Yu's past help, many of them still hoped Xiao Yixian would leave to avoid trouble.
Liu Qing stepped forward and bowed to Mo Yu. "Ice River Valley has come in full force. Since Miss Xiao Yixian possesses the Calamity Poison Body, fleeing is the best option. Our ancestors left behind a hidden passage that leads far outside the city. You can use it to escape without being noticed."
His words shocked the Liu family, as revealing the ancestral passage was a significant risk. Still, Liu Qing had chosen to do so.
Mo Yu, too, was taken aback before chuckling softly. "Liu Qing, you're truly loyal."
He patted Liu Qing's shoulder and smiled. "Don't worry. I've anticipated Ice River Valley's arrival. This won't involve your family."
With that, Mo Yu turned away from the conflicted Liu family members and addressed Qingzhi. "Come with me. It's time to face Ice River Valley."
"Yes, Master!" Qingzhi responded dutifully.
Mo Yu smiled, his gaze fixed on the distant white shadows in the sky. A surge of excitement rose within him. Ever since arriving in Central Plains, he had kept a low profile, unlike his days in the Black-Corner Region, where he had roamed unchecked.
Today, the Ice River Valley would be the first major power he would crush in Central Plains.
Brimming with confidence, Mo Yu stepped into the sky, soaring towards Tianshe and his forces. Qingzhi followed closely behind.
"Tianshe, you ran fast last time, leaving only an arm behind. Now you've brought reinforcements, I see," Mo Yu teased.
Tianshe's face darkened, and he snarled, "Boy, you can talk big now, but when I capture you, you'll learn what it means to wish for death!"
"Enough!" Qingzhi's voice rang out coldly.
Tianshe flinched, remembering his close brush with death at Qingzhi's hands.
"Haha, this friend must be the one who defeated Tianshe," an elderly man in white fur robes said, smiling warmly as he studied Qingzhi. "May I ask your name?"
"Qingzhi," he replied stoically.
"Ah, Qingzhi Zun-zhe. I am Tian Shuangzi, the Grand Elder of Ice River Valley," the old man introduced himself with a friendly smile. His eyes gleamed as he continued, "This matter concerns only Ice River Valley and the Calamity Poison Girl. If I could ask you not to interfere, would you agree?"
Qingzhi didn't respond, simply ignoring him.
Seeing this, Tian Shuangzi's smile didn't falter. "Since that's your choice, I will have to step in and stop you myself."
Even as he spoke, Qingzhi remained silent, standing firmly behind Mo Yu.
"Where is the Calamity Poison Girl? Is she hiding again?" Tianshe sneered as his eyes swept over the group, not seeing Xiao Yixian.
"The city has been sealed off by Ice River Valley's formation. None of you will escape!"
Mo Yu glanced at Tianshe, silver eyes flashing coldly. Just as he was about to retort, he suddenly sensed something. Folding his hands behind his back, a smirk appeared on his lips as he said, "Oh? Ice River Valley has brought many people, but I'm not alone either."
As soon as Mo Yu finished speaking, a loud roar echoed from the northern part of Tianhuang City.
The ground trembled as a rumbling sound filled the air, growing louder by the second.
Tianshe and Tian Shuangzi turned to see what was causing the noise. To their shock, they saw a black tide surging towards them from the horizon, accompanied by thick clouds of poisonous gas that darkened the sky.
The sheer volume of this poisonous cloud was so immense that even the Ice River Valley's formation was affected.
As the black tide drew nearer, they realized it wasn't a natural phenomenon—it was an enormous army of poisonous beasts. The toxic clouds were being spewed from the mouths of these beasts.
"An entire army of poisonous beasts?" Tianshe's face darkened with disbelief.
Mo Yu had summoned an army this massive?
Even Tian Shuangzi narrowed his eyes. Among the sea of beasts, he could sense three particularly strong auras. One of them was nearly as powerful as Tianshe himself.
