They werent out of the Bleak stretch yet the crew lounged on the deck of the blossom tending to the wounds that they still held as they could almost barely see the sun peeking through the thick small like clouds above them they were Perpetual amongst the black strait.
This wasn't the most robust or beautiful of places to take a load off some of them did find it soothing more than others especially one Azalea Raven. the woman and her more dark interests found it quite comforting indeed to be amongst such a foggy and desolate place
considering it to be a Macabre that almost true representation of what the world around them was like rather than being hidden behind a veneer of color and beauty. but at the end of the day that was just her being dramatic
from the help of the citizens that now occupied Hard Rock they knew exactly how to get out of the black stretch. and of course it was simple all they had to do was at North keep constant on North and they told him exactly where that was as long as they followed the way that the grains of sand beneath the floor traveled along with the waves they would make it out and only a few mere hours

now imagine opening that door your iris is adjusting suddenly to the right Sun you could feel the tears at the corners of your eyes having to lubricate your sclera from being tried and not use the such temperature and Radiance on their surface.
the blinding white lights quickly spreading into multiple different spectrums of light and entering through the rods and cones as the picture was made clear
you could feel the heat of the sun on your skin warm and almost unbearable and yet so comforting so relaxing as though simply being in that pillar of Lights basking within that Glory…
it was as if you were being fed
this was what Eddie felt that feeling of relief that feeling of true under jubilation as he saw the clear picture of the bright blue sky above the white dots that was a tinge of yellow high to the sky as his head leaned back and absorbed all the lights on to his bone cold skeletal structure
He let out a small breath as his arm slowly grows at his side taking it all in he felt so cold so so cold and he had right here right now he was basking in the lights that was so warm it was something so alien to him and yet deep within his mind neurons fired to remind him that he had in fact one's experienced this exact light this exact star he had seen that exact sky but that had been a lifetime ago
and this?
this was a new life
a new life for him a life full of countless more noons. countless more sunny days some covered by Cloud some raining but all still having Sunshine through in the day reminding them that even if it had gotten dark one could wait a hundred years and eventually that Dawn nay that day
would come all the same
as long as he had these people by his side in a captain like Leroy he knew that to be true perhaps the only truth thing she knew for certain….

as he finished his words and he looked out behind him to the deck of the ship. watching us all of his crew mingled amongst each other salmon Petty small squabbles of arguments. particularly The Swordsman and the marks woman. but also others just enjoying each other's company.
and then his eyes look past that to the black fog that was quickly escaping Over the Horizon…
