"Hold on!!" Noir Screamed
As the Palm was hit by the haze of white, they couldn't see anything around them, light bouncing snd refracting off the water, but as this happened, Jeanne, Leroy and Specifically Raven all began to loose their strength, minds tipping on the edge of unconsciousness! The Bloomed Limbs disappearing! Causing the crew to regain their free fall!
When finally! They pierced the top of the cloud! Shooting out of the top and entering into the light yet again!
"W O A H !" The Crew Screamed in Unison as the Horizons Palm landed on the clouds. Ship Rocking side to side. The Fluffy Clouds the Exact Same Consistency like the sea below.
Leroys eyes blinked limply as he seemed to regain his strength that was lost from crossing the white haze barrier. 'Must've been the water.' He Theorizes in his mind as to why he suddenly lost so much energy while attempting to sit up.
The Mere motion caused his head to reel, stars speckling his vision as he was hit with a wave of nausea, strange…He'd never felt like this on a ship before, or soaring through the air, hell even the huge falls and high peaks he'd been to before, never felt like this!
His hand laid upon his forehead as he looked around, his throat and nose having trouble to fetch breath, he wheezed as looked around to the others. Jeanne seemed to be handling it the worst, While Kále and Noir were equally as rough, but to the surprise of the Captain, Noir seemed to recover the quickest! The Delirium that Leroy was Experiencing caused him to smile 'Ain't he a smoker? Mamtha always had trouble breathing after runs…Noir must be built different!'
"Agh…Must be…The Air…Thin…" The Captain Mumbled out as Noir kneeled in front of him with a worried look, snapping his fingers. Voice trailing in Slowly. "Lero~y? Le~roy?"
"In…And Out. Catch your breath son. Nice and slow." The Voice wasn't from Noir, but was from that same voice he'd heard in his mind back in the very beginning of the Grand Line.
Leroy inhaled deeply, so much so that his rubbery constitution expanded his chest before deflating back to normal as he exhaled. "Whew~"
"Phew!" His Senses suddenly Regained as he shook his head. "You Alright?"
"Yeah…Yeah Airs-" Raven continued his Sentence for him. "Thin? Yeah. Seems like you had trouble there cuz of the clouds too?"
"Yeah. Was it the Water?" The Captain Question as he Looked around to See that Dezzi was Helping Jeanne to her feet. Who was currently having it the worst. Surely if it wasn't for the help of her gaseous Logia changing her very being even without becoming her element. The Altitude Sickness she was Experiencing would've been far worse for her.
"Probably. Could also be that these clouds hold a Similar Chemical that Sea Stone does. Or could very well be that Mother Nature thinks of clouds as the sea as well…" She gave a small chuckle as limbs sprouted from her back to help hoist her to her feet.
"Jeanne! You alright?" Leroy asked Noir Peaking over his shoulder as well to see that Kirk was Also helping the woman to her feet. "Y-Yeah! Just gotta catch my breath…"
Kále rubbed his temples as he finally rose to his feet as well. "Hell of a Landing…"
"For once I agree with the Urchin. Just what the Hells up with this place anyway?" Noir said, looking out to the Horizon.
The Sky Was Totally Clear. A striking bright baby blue, with the sun directly on them, the temperature was warm, and quite bearable. The Horizon was stretched as far as the Eye could see with a sheet of puffy white. The occasional small movement within them from what Noir thought was surely the clouds moving and lapping against each other like waves of the sea.
"Wow…" Leroy said with wide eyes. A limp smile on his face, totally and utterly mesmerized by the environment that they were looking at. To think that this was above them all the entire time…
Jeanne sighed as she finally caught her breath. It was the perfect concoction. Pressure dropped. Temperature and humidity changed. Air was thinner. The clouds sapped her strength and nearly pushed her to unconsciousness. Perfect cocktail to wind her for a moment, but with each deep breath she regained a little control over the pace. Now resembling awkward if not relatively normal paced breaths as she now tried to orient herself.
As she did she noticed the distinct lack of landmarks around them. She let out a sigh. "Alright let me get our bearings. Allie- OOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo" she exclaimed as she burst into steam. Something she's done hundreds of times. A quick burst upwards and reform to clear a large gap.
The result was a bit less expected.
"HOLY FUCK!" Jeanne would exclaim, having overshot the crow's nest and almost stopped midair before beginning to descend again. She had just enough time to process the sea of white around her before she began careening back down to the other side of the crow's nest, shoulder first.
Right before impact she would wince, causing a flash of pain. Resulting in Jeanne turning into steam upon impact. As the less pressurized steam began to reform into her she felt dizzy. The thin air causing her to pant once more. "Ow that hurt... Someone mind taking over for a sec?"
"I can." Noir offered, not as enthralled with the new world around them. He walked over to Jeanne, offering his hand to her to help her up. "Take it easy, you haven't quite adjusted yet," He chuckled softly, "There is water ready in the kitchen to help you balance… and be careful with how much you move around before getting settled." Thankfully, Kirk had prepared Noir on what they needed to be able to adapt, but fortunately it didn't seem like the conditions were that severe.
