Chapter 472 - C360

There are two things that never go wrong with the Ōtsutsuki:

The Ten Tails and reincarnated containers.

These are the keys to godhood. If he hadn't been attacked by Ōtsutsuki Kaguya thousands of years ago, he would already be preparing to consume his second Chakra fruit.

Every time a Chakra fruit is taken, the improvement in one's life level is visible to the naked eye.

Now, this indigenous planet is changing too fast. Kaguya, who attacked him, has been sealed for thousands of years, and Chakra has spread widely. To gather Chakra again, Infinite Tsukuyomi is the only option.

So the Ten Tails are essential—only by cultivating them to a mature stage can an Ōtsutsuki rely on them to unleash the Infinite Tsukuyomi and reclaim all the Chakra from the ninja world.

"Bastard, where's the Ten Tails?"

Ichishiki didn't see the Ten Tails after arriving at their resting place, and anger surged within him. If he had known, he would've stored the Ten Tails in another space.

He needed to explore other options—this desert area was no longer safe.

But it happened before he could move the Ten Tails away.

Hum!

"Hmm?"

Ichishiki suddenly felt violent tremors from six directions in the distance.

The vibrations were strange—quickly spreading, yet having no direct effect on him.

Or so it seemed.

No, there was an effect—Ichishiki realized his space-time abilities were being interfered with. Opening a spatial channel had become far more difficult.

He tried it immediately, but the channel opened painfully slowly.

Then, danger erupted behind him. A deep instinct screamed:

If you don't dodge now, you'll be severely injured or worse.

"Eat this punch!"

Kushina appeared behind Ichishiki in a flash. She had entered an entirely new state. Although golden Chakra still surrounded her, it was nothing like the previous Kurama Mode.

The energy was refined and focused. Kain, watching from afar, could sense the structure—similar to a genetic warrior's energy system.

Boom!

With five times the strength of a warrior and the power of vibration layered on top, even Kain saw space begin to fracture like a shattered mirror, warping violently around the impact point.

'No—this attack is unavoidable, even with body shrinking—who is this bitch?!'

This thought flashed across Ichishiki's mind. In a panic, he activated the ability granted by the Karma seal—shrinking his body to its minimum size.

But Kushina had anticipated this. From the beginning, her punch was designed to strike within ten meters around her. Even if he shrank, there was no escape from damage.

Boom boom boom!

The land cracked and collapsed—a pit 50 meters deep and spreading over ten kilometers formed instantly.

And even further away, violent tremors were still being felt for hundreds of miles.

Mountains collapsed.

Even though Kushina had compressed the power of the vibration, once released, its consequences were terrifying.

She had become a walking natural disaster—her power was now as devastating as a Tailed Beast Bomb, if not stronger.

"There you are!"

Kushina locked onto the shrunken Ichishiki instantly. But just as she was about to finish him with another punch, a message from Kain arrived:

"Hold back. Force him to reveal more of his Ōtsutsuki power."

With a sigh, Kushina gave up on using her full vibration force. She retracted her fist, shifted her stance, and instead kicked the shrunken Ichishiki, sending him flying hundreds of meters away.

"Unleash your power, or I'll beat it out of you."

Kushina's words were sharp.

Ichishiki returned to normal size. His clothes were torn, blood dripped from his mouth, and he cursed:

"Bastard! So you're the one who took my Ten Tails—and you've absorbed a massive amount of Chakra. Damn natives!"

While speaking, he slowly began unleashing more of the Ōtsutsuki-style power hidden within him. Horns grew atop his head. His eyes transformed, revealing a bloodline limit.

But without the Ten Tails' Chakra to support him, this transformation was costing him his life.

This body originally had ten years left. Now, with the release of such power, less than two months remained.

Ōtsutsuki Ichishiki had now taken full control of the body, regaining much of his strength. But this was the limit.

'Damn it... Two months isn't enough to cultivate a new Karma on a container... I'll have to try planting one on this woman... or I'm finished this time.'

That punch had made one thing clear: He couldn't beat her.

And his time-space abilities were still suppressed. Where once he could open a portal in less than a second, now it took at least five.

Enough time for the enemy to obliterate him.

As Ichishiki scrambled for a solution, Kushina rolled up her sleeves, licking her lips.

"This is your full power? I hope you don't disappoint me."

In the next instant, her figure vanished—appearing right in front of Ōtsutsuki Ichishiki. Even he was shocked.

A native… this fast?!

She swung her fist into his abdomen.

The vibration force detonated inside his body, distorting him into a U-shape as he was launched violently backward.

The shockwave carved a tunnel thousands of meters long, and Ichishiki was thrown across the terrain, rolling violently for hundreds of meters.

His body slammed into the ground repeatedly until even his head was smashed down—his bones nearly all broken.

"Asshole…"

But before he could even catch a breath, Kushina reappeared above him, delivering a devastating kick from the sky.

The impact opened a 100-meter-wide crater, burying Ōtsutsuki Ichishiki deep into the earth.

But this time, Ōtsutsuki didn't make a sound. He was already on the verge of death.

Kushina raised her fist, ready to hit him again, but Kain suddenly appeared behind her, stopped her directly, and said,

"Okay, okay. If you hit him again, he'll die. For now, keeping him alive is more useful."

"Just two hits and it's over?"

Kushina pouted, reluctantly lowering her hand. She didn't enjoy tormenting corpses, but she was a little unsatisfied.

"Didn't you say this Ōtsutsuki was really strong? I feel like even Miss Tsunade could beat him."

Kain twitched his mouth.

"I didn't expect you to get this strong. Didn't you say you didn't like training? Have you been secretly practicing?"

"Who would secretly do something as hard as training?"

Kushina stiffened her mouth, trying to sound annoyed, but under Kain's blazing gaze, she finally smiled and explained the truth.

The reason she had become so strong was that she had lifted the Nine Tails' restriction a long time ago. With that, Kurama could help her absorb external energy, so she had much more time left to focus solely on training the skills of a genetic warrior.

In other words, she had a built-in cheat device—a shortcut that eliminated the boring meditation phase.

"You're really using that plug-in well," Kain muttered enviously.

Although his magic vortex could absorb energy constantly, it still couldn't match the efficiency of a living creature. Every time Kushina unleashed Nine Tails, it could bring back a ton of natural energy.

Even so, it still wasn't as efficient as Kain's devouring ability, but these days, energy-rich beings worth swallowing had become increasingly rare.

After Ōtsutsuki was captured by Kain, the remaining members of the Shell Organization were arrested one after another.

Thanks to Senju Tobirama's Flying Thunder God Technique imprints, no one escaped.

Once captured, they were all imprisoned and prepared for interrogation to extract all the secrets of the Shell Organization.

Kain also obtained a wealth of useful information from Ōtsutsuki Ishiki. Thanks to the Ōtsutsuki clan's method of transmitting life information, Kain was able to read it all smoothly.

Ōtsutsuki had been utterly defeated—his organs, bones, and flesh were shredded into a paste by the vibration force. Only his brain was left relatively intact. Even Kain had to admire Ōtsutsuki's tenacious vitality.

"So that's how the sacred tree is planted. It seems Ishiki had the highest status among the Ōtsutsuki… but he still ended up being overshadowed by Kaguya."

After obtaining Ishiki's information, Kain went to the top-secret base of the Shell Organization and retrieved both the body of Ōtsutsuki Shibai and a sacred tree seedling.

Although it was just a seedling, it was a branch of the Chakra Mother Tree—the last one left behind by Shibai before his ascension.

"Too bad there are only three branches... but I can try separating more from the mature sacred tree. The Chakra fruits might differ across worlds."

Kain planned to plant one in the Marvel World and one in the Douqi Continent, to compare the differences in Chakra fruits across dimensions.

Even though the Douqi Continent lacked Origin Qi, it had an abundance of natural energy—perhaps even more suited to nurturing a divine tree than regular life-bearing planets.

Once the seedlings matured, their composition would be harder to analyze.

He would need to wait until they grew naturally to deepen his understanding.

Even a slightly inferior Chakra fruit would be worth it—after all, he had plenty of mouths to feed.

In addition to the sacred tree sapling, there was the body of Ōtsutsuki Shibai.

Upon seeing the corpse, Kain immediately thought of the Celestials from the Marvel universe. The similarities were striking.

Had Shibai remained in this world, he would've been its strongest being—continuously evolving, shedding his body, and leaving this dimension altogether.

By devouring life planets, he had essentially broken through the limits of individual power, reaching the scale of universal evolution.

Where Shibai had gone, Kain didn't know—but his body alone held immense value.

The head of a Celestial could generate endless Celestial Potions, extremely valuable throughout the universe. So, let alone Shibai's entire corpse—it was a treasure trove for improving one's subordinates.

But Kain didn't intend to let his own family use it. The idea still made him uneasy.

———————————

Taking down the Shell Organization had taken a long time, and Ichishiki hadn't been idle either.

When the Federation of Fire was founded, the Shell Organization had formed connections with many people.

Some were financial backers, but others were far worse—co-conspirators aiming to topple the Federation and rebuild their own nations.

Among them, Fourth Raikage A stood out. To take over the Land of Lightning, he had collaborated with the Shell Organization.

Although the Daimyo and Raikage were not executed immediately, frequent rebellions erupted in the Cloud Shinobi ranks. Raikage himself remained untouched—until now.

With the Shell Organization exposed, evidence surfaced that Raikage had plotted against the Federation of Fire.

Driven by his hatred for the Fire Nation, he had never abandoned his restoration plans.

But with his arrest, things wouldn't be so simple anymore.

The current general of the Federation of Fire was Uchiha Shisui, a man who held the same ideals as his late predecessors.

He respected Senju Tobirama's teachings deeply—extremely tolerant toward his own people, but ice-cold toward enemies.

As for Tobirama, who died soon after forming the peace treaty with Cloud Shinobi, he had never trusted them in the first place.

The investigation dragged on for over three months.

Like pulling up carrots with the mud, countless people were implicated, arrested, and imprisoned—no one was spared.

Kain, however, remained mostly unaware of all this.

He spent nearly all his time studying the saplings of the sacred tree and the corpse of Ōtsutsuki Shibai.

Apart from occasional time spent with family, he stayed in his underground research lab, sometimes visiting Orochimaru to check progress.

As for the politics of the Federation?

He didn't interfere at all.

Kushina was also assigned another mission by Kain—to investigate the Ōtsutsuki remnants on the moon.

Satellite surveillance had revealed that Ōtsutsuki Toneri often gazed toward the ninja world. Judging by his daily behavior, he appeared dissatisfied with the changes taking place on Earth. While he hadn't made a move, his power was more than enough to pose a threat to the entire planet. For the safety of the ninja world, it was necessary to snuff out any potential danger before it could grow.

Kushina was permitted to take a small team to the moon. Their objective: capture Ōtsutsuki Toneri, confiscate any destabilizing forces—such as the giant Tenseigan—and ensure he posed no further threat. He would not be released until it was confirmed that he no longer harbored dangerous intentions.

Kain emerged from his underground laboratory after nearly fully digesting the Ōtsutsuki legacy. However, not long after stepping out, Uchiha Mikoto came to find him.

She greeted him softly,

"It took you another two days this time. I'll go prepare the bath and dinner."

In truth, Kain's body didn't carry any kind of odor—if anything, his unicorn gene gave him a naturally alluring presence that drew women in. Mikoto's gesture wasn't out of necessity, but simply habit—something she always did when her husband returned.

But before Mikoto could leave, Kain gently reached out, his hands wrapping around her soft, slender waist, pulling her into his arms.

"Mikoto, let's bathe together," he murmured.

Even now, Mikoto's mature, graceful beauty never failed to captivate him. Feeling Kain's warm hands around her waist, her breath quickened, and a familiar warmth bloomed within her—her body reacting almost instinctively.

In the blink of an eye, the two vanished, appearing together in the comfort of a steaming bath. With a startled yelp, Mikoto was lowered into the hot spring—clothes still on.

It wasn't long before the sounds of splashing water filled the air, followed by Mikoto's soft, muffled moans—barely restrained, yet unmistakably filled with passion.
