As dusk neared, Chu Yan finally came back carrying a bucket of fish.
"My wife?"
Others looked at him with schadenfreude and pointed towards the direction of the mahjong room.
Qin Zhao wasn't playing mahjong; instead, she was helping Su Xiaotong level up. Chu Yan walked in and found the game hadn't started yet; they were still selecting heroes.
He approached Qin Zhao, "Zhaozhao, I caught a really big fish, we can have fish head soup tonight. What else do you want to eat? I'll go buy groceries."
Qin Zhao had already chosen her hero and was waiting for her teammates to choose.
Her gaze shifted to Chu Yan beside her; he couldn't help but hold his breath, watching her nervously.
"Come here."
Qin Zhao stood up suddenly and walked toward the door.
Chu Yan followed with trepidation only to just step outside when Qin Zhao slammed the door shut with a bang.
"Pfffhahahahaha."
