All night long, Li Xianglu could feel that Qin Xi had a particularly restless sleep, constantly tossing and turning. Sure enough, when they got up in the morning, he had two big dark circles under his eyes.
Li Xianglu, feeling sympathetic, shook Qin Xi awake and said, "Don't worry, Dad will be alright."
Qin Xi patted Li Xianglu's hand, just about to speak, when they heard the giggling voices of kids. Turning their heads, they saw the children sitting on the bed watching them.
Li Xianglu turned to look at the giggling children and playfully patted them; the two little ones quickly scrambled from their small bed to their parents' big bed.
Li Xianglu hurriedly said, "Quick, give Daddy a kiss, Daddy is feeling unwell."
The two children were a bit shy but still leaned forward to kiss Qin Xi, especially Ba'er, the thick-skinned child, who directly squeezed in between his parents.
