Keira Olsen stared at the message, scoffed, and ignored it, tossing her phone into her pocket instead.
Then, she turned to Old Mr. Sims, "I'll take you back."
Old Mr. Sims sighed but said nothing, slowly turning around and walking step by step into the cage he had fashioned for himself.
After escorting Old Mr. Sims into the office cell, Keira Olsen left the room only to see Holly Sims with red eyes standing there, watching them: "Kiera, I'm sorry for causing you trouble."
Keira Olsen patted her shoulder: "Do we still need to talk about 'trouble' between us?"
Holly Sims wiped away her tears: "But you shouldn't have stood up for me. Do you know how many people from the Special Division were cursing you just now...?"
Keira Olsen responded: "A few curses won't make me lose any flesh."
Holly Sims was at a loss for words.
She looked at Keira Olsen and suddenly remembered how in junior high, it was Keira's defiant nature that had drawn her in.
